Neither team is beating the Cavs.

Boston isn't as good, imo, and Cleveland matches up better. But, home court would be nice and basically guarantee a 2-0 series lead, which would be nice.
Closing out the series at home is better. Cavs will go up 2-0 against Boston on their court.

Cavs sweep either team. You heard it here first. They could also win in 5, or maybe 6, but they sweep. Calling it now.

I'm pretty close to calling it a sweep. Need to look at the data first.

Would Ipads be involved with such a specific prediction?

92.3 had Dan Shaughnessy (Boston radio guy) on this afternoon and he was asked about the series if the Cavs played Boston..."Being the road team won't matter...Five games, max."

    Fuck that guy regardless.

He was slamming drinks at a bar I was at in Chicago a few weeks ago. It was impressive.

Sorry to come across as stereotypical but an Irish dude from Boston, hammering booze? Nooooo.....:p (BTW....I'm part Irish, Italian & Polish so I can get away with this :D )

Haha yeah not at all surprised Shaugnessy can take down some vodka drinks (at least that's what it looked like he was drinking).

I'd say in the hour I was there from 1pm to about 230pm, he had about 7-8 drinks.

    G'Damn!

Back in my prime, I might have been able to do that, or least keep the score close. There is no way in my 30s I could do that.

I could do that for an hour and a half, and then would be out of commission for the rest of the night.
  • BR1986FB
7-8 beers in that timeframe is one thing but drinks are a different story.

That's what I was thinking. I could easily pound 7-8 mixed drinks in 90 minutes, but after that, things would get really blurry and I'd probably hear some sort of story the next day about doing something stupid and then passing out 6 hours before anyone else.

Goodyear is going to be the Cavs on jersey sponsor next year. Don't like.

Can't speak for him but it's kind of cheesy. I know that teams are looking to cash in as much as possible but pretty soon these teams are going to look like soccer players or NASCAR drivers with the sponsors all over their uniforms.
  • ernest_t_bass
Yeah, but with revenue coming in from jersey advertisements, you could probably expect ticket prices to go down, no???

I like the soccer jerseys with the sponsors.

I don't want brand names on my teams jersey.

Wasn't meant to be a personal dig on soccer or anything. For once, I agree with sleeper and don't like the logos on the jerseys.

I know you didn't mean that.

I was just saying I think the soccer jerseys with the logos look pretty cool.

You won't even notice it. It's not going to be some big logo across the chest or under the number. It will be a small logo(2.5 inches or snaller) near the shoulder.
