NBA rules isn't exactly my specialty. I know a lot more about player evaluations and talent management, definitely more than anyone on here because very few on here watch the amount of NBA games that I do and/or have the understanding of the game that I do.

That's why I'm confident when I make bold calls like calling a player pure trash after he won the MVP award.

Tavares has played in one game this year and scored 2 points for the Hawks. Last year in his rookie year, he played in 11 games and averaged 2 points.

His D-league career stats are 10pts/7 boards and 3 blocks for 4 teams in 77 games.

    Cut one D-leaguer for another.

I'll take the D-leaguer who has been playing basketball professional and is 7'3 over trash that every team including the Cavs picked over in FA.

James Jones really taking advantage of some playing time tonight.

So cavs will get the Pacers in the first round

Let's see if they actually have that "switch" this year.

Tavares with 6 points, 10 rebounds and 6 blocks in 24 minutes.

    Start him over Tristan.

    Game one 3pm on Saturday.

The NBA picked the worst possible time for me to have game 1, smh.

This may have been posted previously. It's the letter that David Griffin sent to the Cavs when they were down 3-1 to the GSW's last year....

lol, I saw your comments in the reps. You are going all in on this team not even making the ECF.

They've shown what they are capable of against Boston. My only concern is that, besides Lebron, I'm wondering if the rest of them have the attention span greater than a 3 year old and can stay focused for an extended period of time.

Kyrie loves important moments/games, so I think he will. Taking the "Cavs won't get out of the east" or even worse "Cavs won't make it to the ECF" bet is not a bet I would be comfortable with at all.

Do you think they just forgot how to play basketball since last summer?

Cavs will have no problem whatsoever making the ECF. The Pacers are not a good team. 4-1 first round.

I was just about to ask what is everyone's prediction for the pacers series. I am going 4-1 as well. PG does scare me, but I would be pretty pissed if they allow this to extend to 6 games.

Also, on a positive note the Cavs have a winning record against all East playoff teams except for the bulls and Hawks. Meanwhile the Celtics have a losing record against ALL teams with a .500 or above record. Also I saw a state back in early Feb that the Cavs were the only team in the east with a winning record against teams with a .500 or above record. I am not sure if that has changed or not since then.

Don't worry guys...the crap play after the All-Star break was all a clever marketing ploy for the new "Flip the Switch" Nike line for LBJ and KI

I think Indiana gets 1 at home, but cavs in 5 in a relatively
easy series (knocking on wood as I speak)
  • Laley23
VBall, forgot to mention, but I accept that bet.

Also, Cavs in 6 I say. Wouldve predicted a sweep about a month ago. But Lance, while not great, adds something to the Pacers that was missing. And he is one of PG13 best friends...definitely brings out the best in him, as we have seen with his finish to the year.
  • friendfromlowry
It would be silly to count them out until they're literally out. I think they've earned that.

    They sweep Indiana.
  • SportsAndLady
    I also accept vball's bet

I know you're joking but he played much better than I expected. He's a huge guy who can change shots which is exactly what the Cavs will need in the playoffs. I mean HE IS HUGE. I like the signing and I hope Lue uses him in the rotation.
