Cavs are still the team to beat.

    2) PG is REALLY good...a lot better than I originally gave him credit for. He's a superstar carrying a crappy team. His shot is really nice
He's having a great series. Definitely playing better than I expected.

    Cavs in 4.

Paul George is a beast. Not sure why anyone would question that. Cavs still haven't played their best ball, but it's better to be up 2-0 and learn than be down 0-2.

The 4th quarter let downs are just inexcusable. They should have sat Lebron for the first two minutes.

Also the turnovers, smh. Eliminate the turnovers and this game is over at half time.

They have 2 days of rest between each game. I would be pretty pissed if they lose both.

This is a concern for the later rounds. We don't drop a game to the Pacers.

I worry they won't shoot 55% too often. Love was nearly perfect and Kyrie/LeBron very good. Feels like a 20+ point blowout.

    2-0 though. Nothing else matters.

I don't think it's a rest thing where extra days off will be the difference. I just think the margin in which they've played has been so far thin that switching home venues could be the difference maker. Of course, if they clean up the fundamental things like missed free throws and turnovers then neither game is as close. I don't think they will lose both games, but will be pissed if they do. Getting through the east is definitely going to be more nerve wracking than years past.

18 turnovers. That won't happen again.

I agree. Just selfishly wanting them to play well on offense, good on defense and also take care of the ball. 2-0 is what's important and I know I'm being greedy.

If you look at the bright side, the regular season cavs lose that game.

I'm starting to get the feeling that this is who they are. Regardless of how big the lead seems to get, it's probably not safe. They just get complacent when they have a big lead. Would be nice to see them have a killer instinct when they get up that big but I just don't think that's their makeup.

Starting? They have been doing this since the 2015 playoffs lol. I can probably bring up 10 games in the last two playoffs where they took a big lead and ended up making everyone sweat out the end of the game.

BTW, there are a lot of positives in this win that the Cavs can build on.

    -Feeding love
-The entire team played with energy. Defense has sucked, but that 3rd quarter defensive effort for a lot of East teams is all they need. If they give that type of effort to match their offensive output, they are very tough to beat.
-Shump actually wasn't a piece of shit on the court. He gave PG fits in the third quarter.
-18 turnovers and they still won. The pacers converted on many of those turnovers too.
-I don't give a shit what Lebron's stat line says, he had a shitty game for his standards. 8 turnovers, and most of them were care/less sloppy. Despite that, the cavs still won.
-PG has now twice given the Cavs a great performance, and the Cavs have fended it off.

This series is looking pretty familiar to the Detroit series last year. Cavs are building on each game, and they need to focus on the little things.

I wish the Cavs could have kept Delly. His energy off the bench and willingness to play D and do the dirty work would help these 4th quarter let downs:mad:

Also worth mentioning that Toronto and Boston are currently down 0-1. I think one of them will go down 0-2 tonight.

I think both lose the series to be honest. I think I'd rather play Toronto than the bucks

Agreed; our defense is pretty worthless. They will never win it all playing D the way they do now.

Debatable. I would rather face the Bucks personally. Lowry kills KI every single time it feels like. They have better supporting pieces though. We don't have an answer for Giannis, but there's not much else that scares me on that team.
