He sucked before going out too. Been terrible all year.Benny The Jet;1844489 wrote:JR has suuuuuuuuuuucked something awful since coming back. Defensively he's confused as can be as well. Game 7 in Boston or Washington doesn't sound as fun as game 7 in Cleveland. -

Benny The JetKyrie going through not an awesome stretch lately. Looks bad so far tonight. Not shooting great and turnovers
-
SportsAndLadyYeah he hasn't played well tonight at all.

like_thatI'm just shocked they kept a team under 50 pts in a half.

Not going to give them too much credit, 75% of Chicago's roster is so awful lollike_that;1844858 wrote:I'm just shocked they kept a team under 50 pts in a half.
That German dude on the bulls is straight trash. -

Benny The JetWhat's happened to Frye this year? He's unplayable his D is sooooo bad
-
Benny The JetAlso, where's the team that averaged like 120 a game in February?
-
like_thatI'm about fed up with this team. Fuck them.
-
Commander of AwesomeWelp, fuck this team.

vball10setI'll have to agree with Golic's prediction of this morning and say they won't make the Finals this year. I just don't see it happening...damn.
-
BR1986FBI know a lot of this is internal motivation among the players but when is Ty Lue going to start coaching?

With the way they've been playing, they don't look like they could beat Miami in their opening matchup. I think they would but they don't look like they give a shit.vball10set;1844901 wrote:I'll have to agree with Golic's prediction of this morning and say they won't make the Finals this year. They have so many issues right now. Love & JR look like garbage. Love probably needs to sit for the rest of the regular season but that would pose the problem of Tristan Thompson's burn out. TT seems to want to keep this Cal Ripken/games started streak going. Plus he's playing 30 minutes a night. Dude already looks like he's running on fumes. Even though he wouldn't have added much, losing Bogot here hurts because of the rest he could've given TT.
Not necessarily on this site but I think there's this prevailing thought that "it's all good....once the playoffs hit, LBJ will turn on the jets and we'll be fine." Lebron needs someone else to step the Hell up. He's not getting any younger and it can't be expected that he's going to be Superman every time they get into a jam.
If I'm an opposing coach, and have a someone decent point guard, I target Kyrie as a weak (defensive) link and attack him relentlessly.
This team has so many issue right now. Hopefully they get them fixed In short order but I'm pretty skeptical. -
Benny The JetOf late...they can't find a 2nd scorer. Kyrie got 20 last night on like 7-20 shooting with a mess of turnovers (Lebron had a good amount of TOs too). Everyone except Lebron is in like a month long slump, and finishing off the season isn't when you want to do it...in the playoffs would be even worse though.

like_thatI just don't get where the bonding and the chemistry went. Beginning of this year they all loved each other. Ever since love went out for surgery and the cavs went on that west coast trip nothing has seemed right.
Most of it is effort too. Look at the fucking teams that have been losing to. It's a fucking joke. Hell just look at last night. Lebron and co played with energy and held the bulls to 41 points in the first half. The 2nd half rolls around and the energy is gone and they all decide to chuck shots. Even shump! If I see shump take another shot I might throw my remote thru the TV.
Somebody must have fucked somebody's wife. It doesn't make sense a team with this talent looks this and right now. The bulls weren't even good when they were fully manned.
Also, why the fuck didn't Lue give derrick williams some minutes last night? Ty Lue is an overrated coach.
Edit: just saw Benny's post. I'm not worried about Kyrie. He shows up when it matters. I'm worried about everyone else not names Lebron or Kyrie. -

Interesting that you bring this up. We obviously have no internal knowledge of what's going on but I wonder if any of it could be JR Smith related. When things go good, he seems happy as can be. When they go bad, he can take down a locker room. Obviously, there's LBJ to try to keep this in check but your "somebody must have screwed somebody's wife" comment kind of hits home.like_that;1844916 wrote:I just don't get where the bonding and the chemistry went. Maybe it's the "Kardashian Effect?" lol -

IMO, this shitty regular season falls on Lue. He hasn't been able to figure things out with different lineups and all the injuries. The team chemistry (like that mentioned) just hasn't been there.BR1986FB;1844903 wrote:I know a lot of this is internal motivation among the players but when is Ty Lue going to start coaching?
Now I'm not panicking yet, because we all know the playoffs are a different animal and there's no one who I'd rather have in the playoffs than Lebron. But damn they are freakin 5-6 in march, that's god awful for a team as talented as this. -
BR1986FB
I agree on the playoffs part but one of the things that kind of pisses me off about Lue is that whenever he's asked about their struggles, his usual answer is a "nothing to see here/we got this" type of reply, when I wonder if he really even knows. Sometimes, I wish he'd be a little more like Popovich with a "we played like shit/this team isn't very good right now" type of answer. Pop's teams are usually top 3 in the league and it seems like he never lets them get comfortable.SportsAndLady;1844922 wrote:IMO, this shitty regular season falls on Lue. JR's baby daughter was born premature and there have been issues there. She has been recovering, but I am sure that has taken a toll. Lebron still hasn't decided when to GAF. He was laughing off missing that 3 at the end of the game yesterday. If he hasn't yet, I think it is time for him to go off on everyone.BR1986FB;1844921 wrote:Interesting that you bring this up. Yup, Lue is overrated. There really is no excuse for this team to be losing to these shitty ass teams.SportsAndLady;1844922 wrote:IMO, this shitty regular season falls on Lue. It would be nice to see him rip into the team. Hopefully he does it behind the scenes.BR1986FB;1844924 wrote:I agree on the playoffs part but one of the things that kind of pisses me off about Lue is that whenever he's asked about their struggles, his usual answer is a "nothing to see here/we got this" type of reply, when I wonder if he really even knows. Happy they won it all last year but almost makes you wonder if they could've won it with David Blatt. Not calling for Lue's head, at all, but Blatt actually had a better winning percentage. Probably a bunch of coaches who could've gotten it done for them last year. Lebron James tends to cover up a lot of coaching blemishes.like_that;1844928 wrote: Yup, Lue is overrated. I think Lebron respects Lue a lot more. Blatt was a *****. Also, to be fair to Lue he knew how to use Love in the lineup. Blatt didn't and there were a lot times where Love was on the bench to end the fucking games.BR1986FB;1844930 wrote:Happy they won it all last year but almost makes you wonder if they could've won it with David Blatt. My friend just texted me and said the cavs had a team meeting last night after the game. He saw it on ESPN, I am too lazy to find the article, but he didn't clarify whether it was players only or the entire team. Regardless, I am glad they finally realized a meeting probably is necessary. I wish they would have done this when they had off since the Monday blowout to the spurs. -
BR1986FB
That's another thing that you mention (Spurs blowout) that pisses me off. The Cavs get down to a team like that and they pack it in. The "dead" (eye roll) GSW's go down 25-3 against the Spurs and charge back to win. I know GSW take the regular season a lot more serious than the Cavs but it's still frustrating to see.like_that;1844937 wrote: My friend just texted me and said the cavs had a team meeting last night after the game. Fab4Runner*Checks DVR. Sees game 7 still on there. Goes back to not caring about the Cavs losing.*
(In all seriousness, I hope they stop sucking balls soon.)
