They still need to contend for the #2 seed in that case.BR1986FB;1845452 wrote:I already made myself clear about using Sanders to eat minutes after the Boston game, if the Cavs lose. At that point, they're likely no longer contending for the top seed. -

It absolutely does. But again, it's not on ESPN so you won't understand it.like_that;1845453 wrote:It hurts to throw 10 minutes at him against the magic after the cavs went 6-10 in march and lost the firm grasp to the 1 seed they apparently dgaf about? Lol, k. -

It makes a substantial difference especially when you are playing against top competition.friendfromlowry;1845455 wrote:The difference between winning and losing is whether or not Larry Sanders plays ten minutes a game!!! -
Commander of AwesomeSleeper's failed logic would have gotten in the way of the Cavs signing Derrick Williams as well. lolfail

How do you know he's not NBA ready? Are you watching his D-league games? Are you somehow seeing the tape of his practices?sleeper;1845460 wrote:Except Sanders is still not NBA ready so "eating minutes" is absolutely harmful to the team that is trying to regain the #1 seed in the East. -

The Magic, Hawks (x2), and Heat aren't top competition. If they lost to them because he played ten minutes then God help us.sleeper;1845466 wrote:It makes a substantial difference especially when you are playing against top competition. -

Right because a player who had played in the last 2 years in the NBA is the same as someone who quit for 2 years because he wanted to smoke weed and lost a bunch of weight.Commander of Awesome;1845467 wrote:Sleeper's failed logic would have gotten in the way of the Cavs signing Derrick Williams as well. lolfail -

By low risk move you mean jeopardizing a chance at the 1 seed just so TT, the NBA's ironman, can get 5-10 minutes a night rest?like_that;1845489 wrote:ITT insecure sleeper doesn't comprehend the concept of low risk moves. -

This is coming from a guy who has always said the seed doesn't matter because every team in the east is trash and can't stop Lebron in the playoffs.sleeper;1845801 wrote:By low risk move you mean jeopardizing a chance at the 1 seed just so TT, the NBA's ironman, can get 5-10 minutes a night rest?
Now you're worried that larry playing 5-10 minutes is going to ruin a seed that you never cared about?
LOL, this is what happens when you go full on insecure butt hurt. You can't even get your sleeper logic straight. -

I have not obviously seen any tape of his Cavs' practices but I have watched him play in the D-league. He's a foul machine for starters, averaging 3.5 fouls in less than 20 minutes of play because he tries to block every shot. He reminds me a lot of JJ Hickson except slightly more athletic.SportsAndLady;1845470 wrote:How do you know he's not NBA ready? Are you watching his D-league games? I'd rather him stay in the D-league until next year when he can gain some weight and re-learn how to play basketball at the highest level. -

It really doesn't matter what seed they have but its much better for the team overall to have home court throughout the Eastern conference playoffs.like_that;1845802 wrote:This is coming from a guy who has always said the seed doesn't matter because every team in the east is trash and can't stop Lebron in the playoffs.

Sorry that you are butthurt over a project not getting minutes on an NBA championship contending team. -

Uhh ya think? The point is you don't think it matters, yet you are so concerned about seeing what Larry can do. You're letting your act get in the way something that really isn't a huge deal. Contending NBA teams add guys to the roster late in the season all the time. They are all low risk moves and Lebron has benefitted from it a couple times in his career now.sleeper;1845804 wrote:It really doesn't matter what seed they have but its much better for the team overall to have home court throughout the Eastern conference playoffs.

Just admit your logic is failed and you can't keep up with your act. It must be exhausting being so insecure about your knowledge of sports on an anonymous forum. -

Sorry, not going to continuously play into your "omg! your act though" fantasy. -

Is that why the GM signed him? Is that why they continue to call him up to be around the team? Is that why lue threw him in the end of a game on the first day of his contract? Just stop dude, you invent the dumbest arguments. Nobody is fantasizing about Larry turning this team around.sleeper;1845806 wrote:GM and coach agree with me.

GM said he was signed for potential impact next year. There is zero expectation to trot him out for any meaningful minutes this season.like_that;1845807 wrote:Is that why the GM signed him? He's been regulated back to the D-league again. They have already stated that he will be practicing with the team and playing with the Charge until they think he's ready.
Sorry that the reality of the world goes against your personal fantasy. -

What personal fantasy? I wanted Bogut over Larry. The NBA logic is on my side. Every year contending teams add low risk pieces and if it doesn't work out there is no harm. It has worked out for 2 of LeBron's titles. You can try to fabricate this into everyone here thinking that Larry is our savior (if you have proof please provide it), but that's your problem if you want to keep coming off as an insecure moron.sleeper;1845810 wrote:GM said he was signed for potential impact next year. Bottom line: Larry Sanders will not play a meaningful minute for the Cleveland Cavaliers this season. Reality. -
Ironman92LeBron is really good at basketball.

Sure, but is he as good as Larry Sanders? My god, I've never seen so much hype for D-league players than the Cavs. We have the most loaded roster in the NBA and people are more interested in Sanders, Felder, McRae and Liggins.Ironman92;1845833 wrote:LeBron is really good at basketball. -

LOL. 3 YEARS AGO.
Might as well sign Tim Duncan because he was pretty good in 2014. Is he available? Just need him for 5-10 minutes a night to give TT a breather.
