    I just want Tiger back

The very next round Spieth plays will tell us a lot about what long term effects this may have on him. Willet will never make another sound Zwick 12th ranked or not...he's a shorter Paul Laurie most likely.

you don't get to 12th in the world (7th now after the masters) by sucking.

He was in the final group of a major on a weekend just last year, finishing 6th. Dude is good.
  • SportsAndLady
Tiernan doesn't know what he's talking about?! I am shocked!

He is mostly a Euro Tour guy, only playing majors and WGC events in the states, for the most part. So, naturally, casual fans don't know him. But only a true idiot would clamor on about how he isn't any good lol.

Spieth will be fine. He's 22 and didn't completely melt down after 12. Willet will hang around for awhile. Dude went -5 on championship Sunday. Would've been interesting to see what he would've got to if he didn't cruise in.

The World Ranking in Golf is a farce. Eurotrash pick up points playing in lackluster competition on the watered down Euro Tour. Why do think players of McIlroy's stature play almost exclusively over here? But Golf's Hierarchy won't call the Euro Tour what it really is...a glorified Hooter's Tour...because nobody wants to upset the sacred cow. And for God's Sake don't be a complete moron and bring up the Ryder Cup record...anybody that knows anything about golf knows U.S. players are all about the individual bank baby and could GAF about the Ryder Cup down deep where it realy matters.

BTW when is somebody gonna step up and put together the first OC Golf & Bragging Championship? This idea has been kicked around before but somebody needs to grab the reins.

Where & When girly boy? You oughta be able to get us on Congressional with all your clout in the DC area right?

You want the next time, so I'll give you that when it happens. But I'll also give you this year...

He has played on the Big Boy tour 5 times. And he only plays in the loaded WGC Fields. He has made 5 cuts.

    T3
    T3
    T22
    T28 (Match Play)

How long do you want to be wrong about the guy?

The Memorial looks to be going into sudden death. Dustin Johnson won't be a part of it but his drives on 17 and 18 totaled 749 yards.

    Going to playoff hole 2.

Cool as hell when the final two groups walk off of 18 and the GOAT golfer is there to shake their hand.

I need to go back next year. Anyone been to Muirfield for a practice round or tournament day and not enjoy it?

Impossible not to enjoy it. Even with shitty weather, it's a great time. I was out there Wednesday-Saturday this year. Hot, but a blast.

I've been with people who loved golf, people who hated sports and people in between...they all very much enjoyed the experience.

Used to love going on Wednesday and at the time they had the spectator rope on #17 right beside the water cooler and several of the players would come over for a drink and quick chat. I was there in 91 when the larger than life drunk looking rookie was playing by himself (stood there and talked to us for nearly 5 minutes waiting on the 3 some to clear.....3 months later he won the PGA Championship.

Hate the fact they're waiting until the end to make their ruling...just make a decision, for crissakes, and move on!

    It's so incredibly wrong.

He was also told when it happened by the walking official that he was ok, that there was no penalty. That should be the end of it.

    The USGA is a joke.
