wildcats20I don't think many do. Just looking at 2012, Rory and Rose were the only 2 who did.

Yeah, seems you'd want everyone fresh Sunday. Lots of media this week, plus 4 rounds of golf through Saturday could be tough. Even if you lose a point wih their "replacement", better than having both fall flat Sunday and losing 2 because of it.wildcats20;1813268 wrote:I don't think many do. Lol not sure why I went to 2012, but in 2014 Rory, Rose, Rickie, and Walker all played 5.wildcats20;1813268 wrote:I don't think many do. Just looking at 2012, Rory and Rose were the only 2 who did.
Rory 2-1-2
Rose 3-0-2
Rickie 0-2-3
Walker 1-1-3 -
Laley23Looking like 5-3 USA after day 1. Europe dominating 3 of the 4 matches in Best Ball, Koepka and Snedeker winning the other, comfortably.

wildcats20Saturday morning foursomes...
Shocked to see Rose and Stenson split up. It shocked to see Pieters and Rory back together.
Should be another great day. -
wildcats20Also, coverage doesn't start til 9 AM and the first groups goes off at 8:35 again(those times listed are Central). Way to go NBC.

I will never understand how NBC Sports manages to stay so consistently out of touch with reality on broadcasting shit year after year.wildcats20;1813316 wrote:Also, coverage doesn't start til 9 AM and the first groups goes off at 8:35 again(those times listed are Central). Way to go NBC. -

NBC Sports is so far and away better than everyone else is laughable. Trust me on that one.ts1227;1813324 wrote:I will never understand how NBC Sports manages to stay so consistently out of touch with reality on broadcasting shit year after year. -

I can agree with you on production type stuff, but in terms of "showing shit when it happens because this is 2016" they are retarded.Laley23;1813341 wrote:NBC Sports is so far and away better than everyone else is laughable. Trust me on that one. -

Olympics are a different animal, and their hands are tied significantly in what they can show.ts1227;1813342 wrote:I can agree with you on production type stuff, but in terms of "showing shit when it happens because this is 2016" they are retarded.
So that aside, how are they worse than anyone else? And considering the Olympics was available live streaming, I wouldn't even hold that against them. -
Laley23Rickie and Phil...woof.
-
Laley23Patrick Reed was insane. Still young, but he is turning into the US version of Poulter. Kill the Ryder Cup, don't compete in Majors.
And how bad was Spieth?
US leads 9.5-6.5 heading into singles, thanks to Westwood. Should've been 9-7. -
wildcats20Yeah Reed literally won that match by himself. He shot 29 on the front.
-
wildcats20Really, really hope we get Rory/Reed tomorrow. Both are playing insane golf
-
wildcats20Rory/Reed leads the day off!!! Some really, really good matches.
-
wildcats20US wins the Cup!!! Ryan Moore, the final pick last Sunday night, with the clinching win.
-
Spockthe sergio/phil match was unreal good.
-
like_thatI saw a couple people on my facebook feed bitch about the US fans being classless. What were they doing?

There was some complaining (from Europe, and some media agreed) that the fans were very loud, and taunted/swore a lot. That would be my guess.like_that;1813508 wrote:I saw a couple people on my facebook feed bitch about the US fans being classless. What were they doing?

I feel like this comes up every time we host. IMO it's a "truth lies somewhere in the middle" thing. The fans are definitely toeing, and some are crossing a line regarding etiquette, and then the Europeans blow it out of proportion some as well. -
Laley23No, it was bad this time. Calling Rory a "fucking Irish ****", and some others.
My father in law was there, and Medinah, said this was 10x worse and inappropriate.
There is a difference between cheering and booing and cheering their mistakes. But calling names and saying shot you would never say to someone if not for the cover of other people yelling is crossing a line. -
ts1227
Yeah that's not good. It's no secret that US fans are typically louder and rowdier than what they have overseas (and it always pisses the Euro's off over here), but getting personal like that is never good.Laley23;1813523 wrote:No, it was bad this time. wildcats205 man playoff down in Sea Island.
-
Ironman92Tiger.
Would be great to see him back after several years....even if it were just a few tournaments where he was contending. If he won another major it would be damn big. -
wildcats20Played a great round today, albeit by himself.
Will be interesting to see if he can put together 2 in a row playing with Rickie tomorrow.
