There's some merit to that, but he's also getting crushed for a playoff game as a 2nd round rookie, another playoff loss with literally no skill players around him and he gets lumped into the Bengals playoff choke narrative from last year even though he was on the sidelines.
I will say, he's failed to rise to the occasion in prime time and the 2013 San Diego playoff loss was an embarrassment. Other than that, he's had a solid career that has a trajectory similar to many other QB's who went on to have great careers. I mean, look at Ben Roethlisberger's early numbers. He was a game manager who rode a dominant running game and defense. He simply made the few crucial plays when needed.
Not saying Dalton is Roethlisberger, but he's got a chance to prove it this year as it's tough to argue he has better offensive talent than everyone else.
I said earlier, if the steelers didn't have BR I would take Dalton in a heartbeat. -
saltoHappy official NFL season Day!

thavoiceHS and college FB are great and all, but for me football season doesn't start until the NFL kicks off. Looking forward to tonite!
Understand why many love CFB though...if you are a buckeye fan you are pretty much guaranteed a season where you win at the very least 75-80% of your games almost every year. Just more fun when a team yuou root for wins. -

I wish they'd just do it like when the drunj fan runs onto the field and not show it....I also know there is 0% chance of that happeningiclfan2;1810151 wrote:Brandon Marshall the next dumb ads to kneel for national anthrm

sleeperI've tried to have these conversations with the very liberal DC group of friends. They aren't really interested in facts or truth, they are interested in pushing a narrative of racism and the plight of minorities. The reality is, I've lost a lot of "friends" by trying to have this conversation and its really sad that truth and fact are ostracized and feelz is all that matters.
When are people going to grow up? -

Same shit with me. It's not to the point where i lost friends, but political discussions never come up anymore. Too much butt hurt and for a few specific people I can feel the tension from them with their level of butt hurt.sleeper;1810193 wrote:I've tried to have these conversations with the very liberal DC group of friends. Most of the discussions happen because the news will get brought up and it'll be heavily slanted with emotions and I'll start bringing up the facts and asking relevant questions. It's appalling how quickly they turn into "Well you are white so you won't understand" and other trivial BS that has nothing to do with the discussion at hand.like_that;1810195 wrote:Same shit with me. The reality is, I've lost "friends" because I don't associate with idiots. -

I wish people would just stop acknowledging it. Just ignore them, same with the media....but we know that will never happen.iclfan2;1810154 wrote:Well Karma sent him back to the locker room
