He hasn't played in nine months. I'm sure he has chronic (pun) aches and pains, but it's not like he's currently week-13 banged up.Azubuike24;1804039 wrote:At the same time, if I took the beating an NFL RB did, it's possible that weed is one of the only thing that is of some relief. It's pretty ridiculous that the rules are what they are, but agreed, until they are changed, you're costing yourself and your team by doing it. -

Azubuike24They auctioned a signed helmet by Bart Starr, Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers. Pretty cool.

Hell Lynn Dickey wasn't bad either. Haven't really though about their great QB play over the many many years.Azubuike24;1806063 wrote:They auctioned a signed helmet by Bart Starr, Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers. Pretty cool. -

I thought that no games were going to be played at the HOF stadium this year. I guess this holds true now.Ironman92;1806084 wrote:NFL game cancelled lol clusterfuck -

I thought Lynn Dickey was better but his numbers aren't good. My old Topps football cards must not have had the interception stat on the backSonofanump;1806090 wrote:Don Majowski was unavailable. -
friendfromlowryWhat's the deal with Bosa? Does he have any legitimate beef or just being a douche? If the Chargers are going to trade him, they have to do it today.

Chargers are horrible with their rookie deals.friendfromlowry;1806368 wrote:What's the deal with Bosa? Does he have any legitimate beef or just being a douche? If the Chargers are going to trade him, they have to do it today.
I don't blame Bosa at all. -
sleeper
I actually do blame Bosa.SportsAndLady;1806371 wrote:Chargers are horrible with their rookie deals.

Bosa wants to be able to double dip on salary if he is traded/cut to another team. Most NFL contracts, when you sign with another team, your previous team will pay the difference between your current salary and the salary you had with your previous team if it ends up being lower. Bosa basically wants to get both the new salary and all the cash on the old salary which quite frankly for a rookie is an absolute joke.
With that said, I do not care about the Chargers. I do not think Bosa puts them into championship contention. He's not a QB; he's frankly making himself look bad. -
iclfan2Agree with sleeper, it appears Bosa is a baby. The deferred signing bonus is common in most rookie deals, as is the offset language. He gets paid if he gets cut regardless, so quit being a baby and play.
-
Heretic
This. The Chargers want him to delay some of his signing bonus and have offset language stating that if they cut him and someone else picks him up, they aren't on the hook for the money in the contract. Which isn't customary for high draft picks, unless you're in San Diego, where they insist on it. When you're Bosa and you look around and see other high draft picks not having to deal with this shit, why should you? To make Dean "Jerry Jones' bitch" Spanos happy? Fuck that noise.SportsAndLady;1806371 wrote:Chargers are horrible with their rookie deals.

thavoiceYou know what happens after a holdout?

AutomatikWhatever happened to him giving up the the power regarding handling player discipline and punishment?

It truly is a bullshit punishment. You don't get a 2 game suspension, fuck up again and then get a 3.like_that;1808089 wrote:What a shocker, another piece of shit steeler gets special treatment from the NFL.
