I have no faith in the Bengals today. I think we lose 24-14.

    Forgot to mention

Yesterday at school it was "Who Day".... We are about 50 miles from Cincy so the Bengals gear was out pretty strong. We are a very poor district so a lot of kids have goodwill and very old clothing. I always enjoy seeing the older jerseys. Yesterday I saw 2 Houshmandzadeh jerseys (hasn't been on Bengals since 2008), a Carson Palmer (not a Bengals since 2010)

But the winner was a kid wearing a Corey Dillon jersey....it looked new and wasn't a retro jersey made new. Dillon hasn't played for the Bengals since 2003. I thought that was awesome.

I've never seen another team's fans get so consumed with another team. Reds and Cardinals are bad but on a much smaller scale.

Two division rivals where one has had a lot of recent (ie: last couple decades) success and one has been generally irrelevant during that time to the degree that they can be a perennial playoff team and still be a national punchline due to what's happened to them when they've made it.

Past aside I still can't understand....many I know really are more worried about whether or not the Steelers won than if their team won. It's 50/50 for a lot of them. Most of them on here aren't but where I live and even more where I teach most certainly are that way.

Sitting here worried about Atkins, Dunlap, Pacman and Reggie Nelson....Geno and Dunlop could dominate without a Rb that understands all the blocking schemes.....Ben could counter with quick stuff but the quick stuff downfield will be in Nelson-ville. I know defense wins and I'm concerned.

Hoping all the Bengals staff guys going for interviews is a decidable factor.

Man....have a few friends with some killer seats at PBS. 1 30 rows up from field on the 50 and one 5 rows deep on the side of the end zone.
  • Ironman92
Marcus Gilbert running his mouth....my god. He's the one that either false starts or holds 2x a game and he'll be blocking Dunlap
  • Ironman92
Heyward Bay fails to make the first down catch

Special team coverage guy keeping me believing they are the dumbest professional athletes. Just run down and run into the guy wearing an orange and black jersey. I can't fathom the dumbness.

Terrible tackling continues and allowing a 3rd and 12

Why not 1st and 25 if the unsportsmanlike was after they achieved the 1st down?
  • Ironman92
What was Dunlap doing to Todman after that 8 yard gain?

You'll need sonofump....I don't know. A lot of borderline personal fouls going uncalled.

Damnit Haley....everything short and quick then when you need it long drawn out for sack

Now we'll see how Nelson being out affects the Bengal defense.
