The saying "I see your friends, I see your future" is true far more often than it isn't. At any age.

Cut him too. Talent is meaningless if it can't be harvested appropriately.

Kind of my point. Do I think Manziel is going to hold Gordon down and force alcohol down his throat or making him smoke weed at gunpoint? No, but I'm sure the organization is keeping an eye on Gordon and what decisions he's making. It's common fucking sense which some on this site don't seem to have.

"Jackson said last month he would value free agents who have previous experience in his offense, and Wisniewski fits the description. Several others do as well, including San Diego Chargers right tackle Joe Barksdale, Cincinnati Bengals right tackle Andre Smith and Bengals wide receivers Marvin Jones and Mohamed Sanu."

They are supposedly going to go after Marvin Jones pretty hard. I could also see either Barksdale or Smith brought in to replace Schwartz. George Iloka is another one I could see them pursuing hard but it sounds like Detroit is making a big push there.

Wisniewski and one of those tackles mentioned would be downgrades from what they have but I'd be fine with those guys.

I don't think they would be significant down grades for the fact they fit in with what hue likes to do. Overall we could possibly have a better line this year

That's why I wasn't "sky is falling" over Mack & Schwartz bolting. Would've loved to keep them as they are very good but Wisniewski isn't horrible and he's 3 years younger than Mack. Schwartz is likely going to get paid very well.

I adhere to the whatever BR says about oline, believe the opposite. It's proven 100% correct so far.

I would be pretty pissed if we replaced Schwartz with Andre Smith. I dgaf if Smith is famliaer with Hue. He was trash before Hue came to the Bengals and was trash with him. No thanks. I am 100% down with Iloka though.

That's who I was referring too not smith, no thanks on smith he sucks. I saw that we are talking to Adam jones. I wouldn't mind it as long as he doesn't do bonehead shit

You've played, coached and graded O-Linemen HOW much? Yeah, I thought so....go away, Rainbow....

I'll take what I see and have graded over someone's opinion who has likely NEVER played the game and is a "armchair", regurgitating shit from PFF thinking they know line play.

No thanks to that shit. The Browns have already had enough players do dumb shit during games. This guy just doesn't think.

"Gay blade" and "rainbow." Homophobe much?

    Embarrassing.

I sure hope you guys take Adam Jones off our hands.

As opposed to his "drama queen" and various other comments? No homophobe. Have a few friends who are gay. They just aren't smarmy, sarcastic assholes. I generally don't start the name calling/bashing but I'll be glad to finish it. Could care less who or what he, or anyone else, has relations with.

For real. What year is this?

Also sounds like Mack may be signing with the Falcons. Atlanta is showing interest in Schwartz too.

If true, this is a bit surprising....

Regarding WR's....glad to see someone gets it

Probably a simple answer but why were the Redskins able to release RGIII yesterday but the Browns can't possibly release Manziel until Wednesday?

I've always heard the 9th with JFF as it' a new league yr. However, if we dont release him right on the 9th it's bc we're going after some of his bonus for his off the field conduct.
  • BR1986FB
Browns have about $38 million (I believe) in cap space available. At a little after 4pm, I expect it to be closer to $50 million. I think they are going to start releasing these older guys.
  • BR1986FB
Looks like Benjamin will be going to San Diego. Liked his return skills but not a big deal....

And so much for Marvin Jones. Looks like he's signing with the Lions. Not a big fan but I'd bet the Browns go after Sanu.
  • Azubuike24
Sanu likely signing with the Patriots.
  • iclfan2
Per mike silver, the Browns didn't go after jones. Another report said Sashi hasn't been speaking to many agents at all yet. Likely waiting in value guys and not the absurd contracts right now.

Also, laconfora on Twitter is such a douche bag.
