    That's actually rather funny.

    First and foremost, Manziel is trash and probably did most of that.

    However, the one part of the story that doesn't "jive" as true. She said she pleaded for help from the valet and they ignored her. Either she is lying or the hotel will get sued for a crap ton by her. In today's US, you can not ignore pleas of help from a woman being "taken" by a man.

    From what I heard, the valet told her he "didn't know what to do" when she pleaded for help. Does this mean he didn't want to get involved because he knew it was Manziel and feared he'd lose his job if they didn't believe her story?

    Either way, I do agree that the valet should lose his job if he refuse to help her. In that situation, it's pretty much a no brainer as to what to do.

    I'll just be glad when we no longer have to associate Manziel with the Browns.

    PFT thinks browns will get hit hard by the league for covering up JFF showing up to the TF wednesday drunk before last game of the season. Buddy called JFF worst draft pick in Browns modern era, hard to disagree.
  • rrfan
    I think that the browns did JFF a big favor for saying he was concussed and not drunk. However, it may bite them in the &ss in the end...just like the whole drafting Johnny in the first place.

    The kid needs help and I hope he gets it but I would not nor did I ever want him to play QB for my team.

    Can't wait for you guys to cut Manziel. Sick of hearing about how much of a moron he is. Problem is going forward every offseason or anytime a QB goes down it'll be "bring in Manziel, he's clean and in great shape!"

    Guy is a fucking mess. Cut him and let him rot in alcoholism in Dallas.

    Manziel was hit in the head twice in a 17-13 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Dec. 27. Linebacker Josh Mauga hit him helmet-to-helmet at the end of a scramble, and Manziel's head hit the turf after he was tackled by Allen Bailey on another fourth-quarter run.
    Phew, browns should be off the hook.

    Shame he's such a fuck up because he was one of the ones who could actually get to the QB last year.

    So what are the thoughts on pulling a "Redskins" and using the #2 pick on a QB and maybe taking another one in the 4th (like the RGIII/Cousins draft)? Other than McCown, who is serviceable, the QB position on this roster is pretty shitty. If (not saying it will happen) someone like Cardale fell to the 4th round, I'd snap him up in a heartbeat to develop.

    Cardale is going to win a Super Bowl. I hope the Browns draft him.

    ....and so we need yet another player to fill another hole. SMH.

    Not going to QQ about a guy who didn't start and played less than 45% of the snaps.

    I think it's a stupid fucking idea and I would be pissed if it happens. Let's not pretend drafting Cousins was the smartest move for the Redskins. They benefitted from a pile of a shit division (+plus every player on the cowboys dying). I highly doubt they make the playoffs next year. They needed RG3 to be a pile of shit (he was) to even figure out what they had in Cousins. Cousins will most likely be overpaid this offseason and the redskins will be looking for a new QB again.

    We are cutting the fat anyway, I am not going to QQ about losing him.

    I beg Cleveland please do not draft a QB. I cannot stand Browns fans but good god none of these QB's are worth a damn, get some decent at least like a top receiver

    Maybe the Browns should start listening to Detroit Lions fans...they root for such a successful franchise, the Browns should take notes!

    Going to have to pull the trigger at some point. They probably won't be drafting this high for awhile, assuming they eek out a few more than 3 wins under Hue.

    Recent comparisons to current NFL QB's have:

    Wentz = Derek Carr
    Goff = Matt Ryan
    Lynch = more athletic Blake Bortles

    And most have Wentz as the top QB after his Senior Bowl, which is just amazing to me.

    The thing is...I believe a lot of guys can be the answer at QB...but it's not as simple as picking the right guy. It's how you manage his first few years in the league.

    Blake Bortles is a turnover machine, who might be a guy that puts up decent stats, but his ceiling is as high as the team around him. If the Jags somehow load up on talent and build an elite team around him, he could top out at someone like Eli Manning or Joe Flacco, but if he's continually on sub-500 teams, there will be a point where the Jags are looking at QB again.

    Matt Ryan? Not even a top 20 QB in the NFL and has gotten worse and worse. Anyone compared to him you might as well pass.

    Derek Carr is the one guy mentioned that could end up being a top 10 QB consistently.

    You gotta figure the Browns should be less worried about who the right guy is and more worried about how their going to handle the situation. Start day 1? Sit 2 years? We'll see. If I was banking on it, Hue will put his guy in there right away and see what happens.

    Start day 1. If you draft a QB in round 1, you put him in right away.

    The only exception to this rule is if you already have a solid QB on his last legs and you are grooming for the future. The Browns have zero QBs on the roster that are even remotely NFL quality much less good enough to sit someone behind.
