Chicago radio is actually pretty good. Lot less dramatic than NY media. And they have a lot more insight than smaller market media does.BR1986FB;1773140 wrote:Wait a second... -

Just bustin' your balls, man. If I even say "sports talk", people on here are all over me like flies on shit.SportsAndLady;1773146 wrote:Chicago radio is actually pretty good. Lot less dramatic than NY media. And they have a lot more insight than smaller market media does. -
se-alumI don't know how anyone can see this draft class as having a QB worth the #2 pick. I know I say it every year, but we need to build a team that can allow a rookie QB to have success, and we're not even close right now. I would go d-line, WR(multiple), LB, and o-line before I worried about a QB. Then be in position to take Watson, Falk, Kaaya next year.

Probably because you reference Cleveland sports talk and every person who calls in is Footwedge lolBR1986FB;1773150 wrote:Just bustin' your balls, man. If I even say "sports talk", people on here are all over me like flies on shit. -

There are no QBs this year worth a top 50 pick. The Browns will still find a way to blow a high pick on a project and then we will get another Manziel and have one of the worst records in the league again until we fire the coach/GM and start over.se-alum;1773155 wrote:I don't know how anyone can see this draft class as having a QB worth the #2 pick. AutomatikI'll ask again.
No interest in Kaepernick? He desperately needs a change of scenery and he did show some flashes of greatness. Not sure how cheap he would be though... -
Lovejoy1984Anything above League Minimum, no thanks.

No one has any interest in Kaepernick.Automatik;1773164 wrote:I'll ask again.

If he is interested in a reasonable deal, then absolutely yes.Automatik;1773164 wrote:I'll ask again.

Agree. Not at 19 per. If it is a fraction of that, he would be worth taking a chance on.sleeper;1773172 wrote:If he is interested in a reasonable deal, then absolutely yes. -
BR1986FBDaryl Ruiter (Browns beat reporter) was on this afternoon and gave me a little bit more (not much) relief with this Sashi Brown promotion. Haslam met with the Cleveland media and explained Brown's role.
Sounds like he'll sign off on personnel decisions but won't be doing the talent evaluating. They will have a personnel guy who will (for example) give the suggestion "here are the top 3 LB's we have evaluated" and then Brown will sign off on the selection. -
lhslep134What it really sounds like is Sashi Brown will oversee the decisions to make sure a bone-headed one isn't made; he'll be serving almost in a "quality control overseer" role. I like it, as it would be the role I would want to eventually play if I also made the move from lawyer-->consultant-->high-up FO position.
Cue the "duh, look @ the lawyer who like sports sticking up for the other one" posts. That's just how I feel though. I'm not concerned about his role in player personnel evaluation. It sounds like he knows he needs football minds around him. -

You mean our #5, 6 or 7 pick when we trade down. If we use a #2 pick to draft a QB out of this year's class, I think I'll throw up.SportsAndLady;1773109 wrote:Gase did wonders for cutler though. A lot of people here in Chicago give him a lot of the credit for Cutler's bounce back season.
Gase isnt my first pick but he could at least help groom our hopefully #2 pick QB. -
shook_17Lol ESPN Las Vegas is reporting Johnny was in a night club til 3 am with wearing a wig mustache and glasses. Going by the name of Billy.
WHAT A FUCKING TOOL. Buh bye hello Goff. I'm official done with him. -
Con_AlmaDoes FW still think the make up of this goofball is what is needed to be an NFL QB today?

AutomatikIf this is true, he is the epitome of "not giving a fuck." Wow.

Midstate01There is no way this story is true. You mean to tell me nobody at the Cleveland airport saw him. He can't wear that disguise to go through security. 1) he'd never look like his ID and 2) his name is on it... there just is no way.

shook_17Saints want a 2nd round pick for Payton. If he agreed to come here would you give up the 32nd pick? I'd offer a 3rd and 5th. Them go from there
