Went to the Pacers-Hawks game last week. The kid has some big-time potential. He is a defensive liability if you force him to guard someone with a midrange game. When you let him sit back on a guy like TT, he's a great rim defender.

Basically saying they are better than Pacers, but thinks Pacers match up well with them because the games
are back and forth. But that Pacers have to improve to win a series.

Also, questions like that make it impossible for athletes to not sound arrogant/like they are calling out the other team.
Prior to last nights game, he wasn't necessarily wrong. It's hard to believe that last night was the first time the Cavs have won in Indiana since 2010. Granted, LBJ wasn't here the whole time but I figured they would've won at least one game there.

I'd still prefer not to play them in the first round.

Also, is it just me or is Lue's style slowly phasing out the need for mozgov?

I didn't want them to face them in the first round last year either. Don't think the Pacers are all that good but they seem like a tough matchup for the Cavs.

Mozgov is gone at the end of the season anyway. He's going to want too much money and the Cavs straight up don't have it.

Gilbert has it, especially since they are raising the cap. Will they pay him? I have my doubts.

That's not the discussion though with what I was asking.

Then to answer your question, Movgoz need is being phased out but that's a good thing since we aren't bringing him back anyway.

Any predictions on moves, if any, Cavs make before deadline? Heard rumors or wanting a wing defender...a defensive tough athletic big would be nice since, as stated, Moz has seemed to fallen off.

I'm keeping my eye on PJ Tucker. That's probably about the best we're going to get and he would be a nice grab. Some other scenarios I wouldn't mind happening:

    Ariza
    Marvin Williams
    Markiff Morris
    Jared Dudley

I have no clue why but I keep hearing Joe Johnson's name brought up.

Ugh. That would make me sad. He sucks now and is a liability defensively. Exactly what we do not need.

Plus his contract is like $18 mill+ this year. Like I said, no clue why his name keeps surfacing.

I don't see what he would bring at all....unless they want to piss off JR Smith

Do not want Markieff Morris. JR is enough headcase for one locker room.

Windy seems to think there's no chance of this happening due to his off the court drama. I wouldn't be against it. Great added depth to back up Love.

The kid definitely has talent and would be a perfect fit just not sure about his attitude. To me it's not worth it

I know what you're saying.. I think most people where scared of JR when we traded for him.. he's toed the line though. I think Lebron can get Markieff to also.

Other than bitch slapping crowder I think JR has been perfectly fine.

Agreed. But he was a notorious ball hogging headcase that many people were against the move. That's my point.. he's toed the line here. I think Morris would too.

FYI, saw a cool stat today

Kyrie is 32/32 in OT on free throws in his NBA career. Clutch.

Early, but like what Lue is doing with the team and the more I start to believe in our GM more than anything.

Bold move by Griffin but it seems to be paying off.

They need to tighten up their defense. I know that with this faster pace, more possessions = more points for the opposition. I think they will be able to run a lot of these mediocre teams out of the gym but it's a little different animal playing a GS.

I saw where they're actually playing slower/less possessions, but theyre getting KLove more touches around the elbow which is helping his game and helping the team.

Yup. Here's a good GQ feature on JR from December for anyone who didn't see it http://www.gq.com/story/jr-smith-cleveland-cavs-always-open

Suns wouldn't be dumb to dump Morris now, not sure his stock could ever be lower.
