TT deal is definitely top 5 worst deal in NBA history. People will defend it and say "Well it's DG money and we had no cap space anyway, so it doesn't matter what he's paid". That statement is true, however TT is now what I consider a dead contract. We can't trade or move TT if needed because no one wants him especially at that price.j_crazy;1797954 wrote:That team looked lost last night. LBJ was pushing waaaaay to hard and you could tell his frantic attitude was rubbing off on the rest of the team. If they have any chance to win this series, HE has to calm down and get the team to play calmer around him. It'd also be nice if JR, TT, and KI did something, anything to contribute. TT is probably the worst money the cavs have spent since Andy's 10MM/yr deal, but even that wasn't so bad because Andy was hurt for a whole year of that time.
If we lose the Finals, no doubt there is going to be some personnel changes coming and with TT's contract you can guarantee he is staying. Love is also probably not moveable either so Kyrie, the best of the group, is likely gone at the end of the season. -
sleeperAlso hate to pile on here, but is there anyone left who still thinks the Love for Wiggins trade was a good trade?
-
sleeperAlso, I'm still sticking with my original prediction, Cavs in 6.

This team is no better with Wiggins, IMO.sleeper;1797969 wrote:Also hate to pile on here, but is there anyone left who still thinks the Love for Wiggins trade was a good trade? -

Wiggins would be nice but the one guy that could have really made a difference in this finals match up wise... Joe fucking Johnson. What a fucktardsleeper;1797969 wrote:Also hate to pile on here, but is there anyone left who still thinks the Love for Wiggins trade was a good trade?

If it's a wash, then why not keep the younger cheaper player with potential to be one of the best in the league over a slow white max contract player who has an average post game and average 3-point game?GOONx19;1797973 wrote:This team is no better with Wiggins, IMO. -

Love is injury/hurt prone therefore unreliable, so obviously Wiggins would be the better option...theoretically of courseCrimson streak;1797972 wrote:Obviously it all depends on if love is out or not

I was referencing about starting frye instead of tt. But either way I'd rather have lovevball10set;1797978 wrote:Love is injury/hurt prone therefore unreliable, so obviously Wiggins would be the better option...theoretically of course

I don't know. Maybe Kyrie should start playing like he's the best of any group before the series is over. More TOs than assists from a point guard, to go with 33% shooting is pure trash.sleeper;1797959 wrote:TT deal is definitely top 5 worst deal in NBA history. Yeah, I realize that, but Love is hurt more often than not, so pretty much anyone is betterCrimson streak;1797980 wrote:I was referencing about starting frye instead of tt. But either way I'd rather have love

He missed five games this season (and how many were just rest days). I know he's had problems in Minnesota but in Cleveland he had Olynyk rip his arm off and took an elbow to the back of the head. It's not like he's Derrick Rose and keeps hurting his knees.vball10set;1797988 wrote:Yeah, I realize that, but Love is hurt more often than not, so pretty much anyone is better -

In two years with the Cavs, he's been productive in like 8 playoff games. Out of 50+ games. Not good.friendfromlowry;1797994 wrote:He missed five games this season (and how many were just rest days). What do you mean by "50+ games"? He was looking decent last year until Olynyk hurt him. I realize he's played the disappearing act which I'm not defending him of. But I just think it's unfair to say he's an injury liability.SportsAndLady;1797995 wrote:In two years with the Cavs, he's been productive in like 8 playoff games. Out of 50+ games. Not good.
If the Cavs don't turn it around and lose in 4 or 5 games, then I wouldn't lose sleep if they traded him and/or Kyrie in the offseason. -

friendfromlowryWhere are you getting 50+ from? The team only played in 20 games last year and 16 so far this year.

Doh. Was thinking they played in more but forgot how many sweeps.friendfromlowry;1798000 wrote:Where are you getting 50+ from? The team only played in 20 games last year and 16 so far this year.
But still, perfectly fair to criticize Love for injuries when he's played in less than half their postseason games. I don't really care if the Olynyk foul was a fluke, still missed every game after that. -

Not to pile on, but Love is a max contract player. He should be able to produce on the court and shoulder the burden of putting points on the board. He doesn't seem to have the effect that a max contract player should bring to the table; he's overpaid and overrated.SportsAndLady;1798001 wrote:Doh. Crimson streakI don't know why you are all piling on love. He hasn't been the problem this series. I thought he played a pretty good game 1. Kyrie has been pure shit, lebron has been shit as well. Thompson has just be god awful and delly and jr have been worse. Everyone needs to play better. It's a simple as that. Move the fucking ball on offense and stop switching on god damn screens and play with energy. Playing with energy will open the offense up a bit and moving the damn ball will open some shots up.

Also, yes in Game 2 Lebron was shit. Game one he had a triple double(almost) in a very winnable game. Support cast didn't show up and we missed way too many shots. -

Lebron wasn't great game 1 either. He'll love has played better than Kyrie and he's a max player.sleeper;1798011 wrote:Max contract player. That's why.

Serious question. Would Lebron have come back without the trade?sleeper;1797969 wrote:Also hate to pile on here, but is there anyone left who still thinks the Love for Wiggins trade was a good trade?
