Exactly--the Cavs are soft, and GS knows it

Really glad to see James Jones do that. REALLY glad.

Golden State up nearly 30 with Curry in the game. James Jones plants his little bitch ass, and then he promptly gets removed by Kerr. lol

Yup--seems like he's the only one with a pair

They played extremely good defense against Klay and Curry and it seems their game plan is to let the reserves beat them. Well, it just so happens that the reserves played out of their mind while the Cavs reserve shit the bed entirely.

I expect a Game 2 win and a sweep in Cleveland. Hopefully the Cavs can win their Game 6 at home unlike CHOKC.
sleeper;1797719 wrote:Also should be comforting to know that Love decided to show up in the Finals. This will be good for us over a 7-game series.

Frankly, we need more out of Lebron(and yes, I'm aware he was 1 assist shy of a triple double).
sleeper;1797722 wrote:Also simply put the Cavs shot 38% and with 15 turnovers. A lot of these misses were bunnies. I counted 5 missed layups in the 4th. That's 10 points.

    That will not happen again.
sleeper;1797723 wrote:BTW since most of you are plebs who don't understand basketball, the Cavs defensive strategy is entirely based on stopping Curry/Thompson. Every time Curry rotates off a screen, the Cavs are giving him a clean shoulder/elbow. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Curry gets a few T's or flagrants from retaliating on those bumps. You can tell he was extremely frustrated in that style of defense and I don't see the Cavs changing up the game plan.

Curry does not like physicality. Good on Lue for recognizing this and building a game plan around it.
Don't you look silly. Well, sillier.

The NBA would be ahead to just make sure GS sweeps this. These two games have been embarrassing and to me would look fishy as hell if Cavs then won at home. Home court isn't worth 30 points but the amount of difference calling a game a certain way can make is hard to calculate.

I'll be very happy if Cleveland can hold suit at home but IMO makes the NBA even shadier on how much the refs control things.

I honestly would just like to see 3 college guys or 3 D league refs do these finals. These cats just feel like part of the script.

get the brooms out....GS is sweeping

    Where are your predictions?
  • Classyposter58
Cleveland looks lost offensively. You have to pound the ball on them as OKC did, they guard the perimeter too well and missed threes lead to easy fast breaks

Cavs lose in five. I also didn't type a bunch of mumbo jumbo pretending they're fine, expecting Cavs to win out, missed lay-ups wouldn't continue, Curry would start wracking up the technical/flagrant fouls.
My prediction was that if they didn't fix the lazy defense, we'd see more of this.

Then you should learn the power of Positive Mental Attitude.

If only the Cavs had Love and Kyrie last year they would have won it all. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    Those damn refs......

Trolls coming out of the woodwork all of the sudden.

This is why it was beyond idiotic for those who were hoping to play GSW. You take the better matchup 100% of the time. Not only is GSW a great team, but they matchup perfectly with the Cavs. When GSW won game 6 vs OKC a part of me felt that we already lost the finals.

To top it off, the entire team is in the Cavs' head (from owner to the 15th man on the bench). I know I just said they match up perfectly, but they shouldn't be blowing the cavs out 9 games in a row. All of these guys are playing with a mental block, and that includes Lebron with his shit ton of turnovers. The cavs have completely abandoned what got them to the finals. This isn't the same team we saw in April and May. It's truly pathetic. I think the most didsaponting fact about their performance is curry/klay have been held to 40 pts in the first two games. If you told me that before the series started I would have said we will be up 2-0.

Also no shocker at the trolls coming out the woodwork. I'd be more impressed if they stuck around the entire playoffs, but all of them have appeared when they finally lose. Don'tcare for example has posted twice since April and those two posts were after the cavs lost. This is the same redneck who said he would fire his employees if they smoked weed (on their own time) even if it were legalized. I don't know what's more pathetic the posters who's first thought is to post on an message board they don't care for after a certain team loses (don'tcare, iggy, classy, etc) or somebody like tiernan who has no shame in letting everyone know he is a deadbeat with no life. The only thing we are missing is for thavoice to post about how he got us good with his reverse jinxing.

The more I think about it, Lue is really letting them down. I've never seen a team so unprepared, unfocused, and apathetic in the finals. These are unarguably two of the top teams in the league - why is one getting blown out back to back? They actually played considerably worse in game two than one, which I didn't think was possible.

As for the trolls, Tiernan isn't so bad. He actually had a pretty good post around midnight this past weekend. Rather than enjoy a Saturday night with friends/family, he's posting borderline-suicidal cries for help demanding answers as to why he's been banned. And speaking of suicidal, I miss Footwedge. You know he'd have some dumbass idea like benching Irving in game three and starting Delly.

That is pretty funny and also sad. If I am ever at the point of my life where my only enjoyment in life is to see a team lose and post in a thread where I'm talking to myself, then please get me help.

I'd really like them to start frye and have Thompson come off the bench. Open the lane a bit while bogut is out there and just attack the fucking rim

Not a terrible idea but if Love is out who is going to rebound?

Warriors are 0-3 in game 3 this postseason.
  • j_crazy
That team looked lost last night. LBJ was pushing waaaaay to hard and you could tell his frantic attitude was rubbing off on the rest of the team. If they have any chance to win this series, HE has to calm down and get the team to play calmer around him. It'd also be nice if JR, TT, and KI did something, anything to contribute. TT is probably the worst money the cavs have spent since Andy's 10MM/yr deal, but even that wasn't so bad because Andy was hurt for a whole year of that time.

The Cavs are not good at Shooty Hoops right now.
  • Heretic
The main difference I saw last night was that GS did things like pass the ball around and hustle, while Cleveland didn't seem to do anything other than play 1-on-1. And when GS started to pull away, they just mentally froze and kept trying to force stuff every possession. Recipe for disaster -- playing against a team that matches up against you perfectly and playing into their hands with regularity.
