It's no coincidence you don't know how to spell genius. -

Like shooting fish in a barrel, isn't it? -

Damn. Just like Davis last year, showed flashes in pre-season, gets hurt and now we have to wait (at least) a year to see what we have. Still to early to label Hardesty but this isn't a good start -
KR1245How many RB's are the Browns going to keep? Harrison and Hillis are locks. What about Davis? Jennings?
-
grodtI think they keep Davis for sure. Probably cut Jennings
-
Art ModellI bet Durkieboy has a large lump in his throat right now. hahahaaaaa

Jennings may have more lives than a cat. Very possible they go with 4 backs and he'd be one of them. -

Yeah, I bet he's just shitting bricks that a ROOKIE RB who saw his FIRST NFL action LAST NIGHT went down with an injury. Seriously....I'm picturing Corky from "Life Goes On" at the other end of your computer. -

Especially since Jennings plays on special teams. -

Worried yet?
Injury. Machine. -
SykotykHardesty didn't do anything we haven't already had with Harrison, Hillis, and Davis.
Shame it looks like a bust this early.
I think we're in good shape at running back even without Hardesty. Harrison the every-play back. Hillis the big bruiser (could you imagine him and Vickers in a goal line situation?), and Davis as the change of pace back.
Jennings isn't a slouch, either that's shown good speed at the outside. Some two-back sets will give other teams fits as all our RBs tend to have greatly different advantages and styles. -
Pick6I've been high on Davis since he was in Clemson, seems most Browns fans forgot about him until the other night though

mucalum49Brandon McDonald has been cut and confirmed it via his Twitter page

Who isn't going to make tackles and cover guys now?? -
SykotykMcDonald had some big play ability... but was overshadowed by the majority of the plays where he was out of position, misread the quarterback and got beat deep, or noodled armed a tackle.
We have a much better secondary now to not need him. Finally. -
FootwedgeBrandi was told to take her skirt with her.

Commander of AwesomeThank god, David FUCKING Veikune was cut. I have never seen such a sorry player in TC. Glad that "experiment" is over.
-
IggyPride00What a bust that draft was with Mangini in charge. 3 second round picks and 1 has already been cut, one was so shitty as a rookie he could barely get on the field for a bad team, and the other at least showed some promise of being solid.
Most teams count on 2nd round picks to be starters anymore, and Cleveland barely got jack shit out of 2 of 3. That is the kind of thing that sets franchises back. -

Not to mention that Mangini got his pants taken down in that Sanchez trade (should have gotten another 2nd rounder). Veikune reminded me of "Chaun Thompson Part Deux" for how huge of a reach he was. At least Thompson saw the field.
Unfortunately, they aren't really in a position to take risks like teams that are loaded (see Ravens). For some reason they'd rather play it ultra safe with these brainiacs who are "smart, tough players" yet have little athleticism and are FAR from impact game changers. The defense, especially linebacker, NEEDS impact players to enforce their will. Right now it just seems like we have a bunch of steady "guys." -
Commander of AwesomeYeah you dont take projects with huge risk on a team as devoid of talent as the browns are. I'm not sure how you whiff so hard on an ILBer. Its shameful. I wanted Phil Loadholt with that pick too. Imagine would you rather have Loadholt or John "The Matador" St. Clair maning the RT spot? What an imbecile Erica Womangini was in that draft.
-
BR1986FBYeah, Loadholt along with Luavao this year would have pretty much solidified our line for years to come.
Didn't those dumbasses also let Don Carey slip away to JAX or was that under Savage's watch? -
grodtPretty sure that was Mangini
-
Art ModellSportingNews magazine has the Clowns going 2-14. What you guys think?
-
grodtMangini said either Womack or Lauvao will be the RG, and either Pashos or St. Clair will be RT. This isn't breaking news I suppose just thought I'd pass it along.
