BR1986FBIf Dallas somehow wins this, there will be three teams log jammed at 5-7 for the lead in this shitty division and the Boys' will only be one game out.

Yeah, after the Giants loss yesterday they were talking about that. I was like there is no way...then I looked at the standings. I know the East was bad, but it's just flat out gross.BR1986FB;1768082 wrote:If Dallas somehow wins this, there will be three teams log jammed at 5-7 for the lead in this shitty division and the Boys' will only be one game out. -
Azubuike24Dallas' odds to win the division are under like 1%. Even if they were to catch up in the standings, they lose the tiebreakers. They are 2-7 in the NFC...whereas Washington is 5-3. They would need to sweep the Skins. The Giants, despite their records, are still 2 games ahead of Dallas in the NFC standings. Dallas has 3 NFC games left (including tonight) and New York only has 2.
Most likely the Philadelphia at New York week 17 game will be a fight to get to 7-9...and make the playoffs.
Considering that team would likely host Seattle, they would probably be a TD underdog at home in the wild card game. -

There is no way the Cowboys only have a 1% chance. Who cares what the record against the NFC as a whole that is the 4th tie breaker anyway.Azubuike24;1768122 wrote:Dallas' odds to win the division are under like 1%. If the Cowboys can sweep the Redskins they would have a 4-2 record in the division (which is the second tie breaker after head to head) and hold the head to head tiebreaker over them. The only team that can match the Cowboys division record if that happens is the Eagles (They are 2-2 and have division games left against the Giants and Redskins). -

It was probably 1% with Weeden, I'd increase it to 3% with Cassel. -
Azubuike24Dallas 1.9% chance to make the playoffs.

Washington 52.5%, Philadelphia 27%, New York 20.8%.
Technically, Dallas is the only one of the four eliminated from the wild card race. -

Pretty interesting link can't believe they are that low. Pretty crazy that if they go 5-0 from here on out it gives the Cowboys an 81.5% chance of making the playoffs.Azubuike24;1768127 wrote:Dallas 1.9% chance to make the playoffs.

I would still take bungals receiving corps over steelers but it's pretty damn close.Automatik;1767995 wrote:Arguably the best WR group in the league.
I wasn't sure that Wheaton would ever come around, but glad he is. Also major props to the O-line. They have been playing well despite the injuries.
Pittsburgh is setup pretty well for the immediate future, but they gotta shore up the defense...way too inconsistent and can get torched on any day. -
Ironman92
Bengals 3 plus TE are better but love how Wheaton and Ben have improved their cohesion and Bryant is making big strides....he's passed Sanu IMO and I really like Sanu.DeyDurkie5;1768134 wrote:I would still take bungals receiving corps over steelers but it's pretty damn close.
Their offenses are close...Haley has been better if late but Hue calls a better game IMO
Bengals are better at most of the defensive positions. You can't come close to comparing the defenses. -
wildcats20They should probably just end this game. Call it a tie. No one is gonna score anyway.

SportsAndLadyThis game is so bad
MNF games have been awful this year -
Lovejoy1984Great Job costing your team the game dumbass.
-
SportsAndLadyThink he might have been down
-
Lovejoy1984Yeah that replay looked close. I've got no idea what in the hell he was thinking on that return regardless. Lost 10 yards trying to be cute.
-
Lovejoy1984Hell of a finish this week, just like last week.
-
SportsAndLadyWas playing against Desean in fantasy and was up 1 before the fumble. So up 3. Thought Dallas could kill the clock, but fucking McFadden stayed in bounds.
I went from winning first place, winning season champ money, and a first round bye. To finishing 4th, and having to play the 5th ranked team who scored the most points in the league this year.
Ugh haha -
Azubuike24Steelers WR corp is better than Bengals WR corp. Obviously, without Bell and adding Eifert, I'd take Cincy's offensive unit (and line) over Pittsburgh's.
Just talking QB and WR, Pittsburgh is the best in the league. -

Rapistfucker is worth like 50 pts where dalton is a -2. Give me Pittsburgh over cincy EZ.Azubuike24;1768244 wrote:Steelers WR corp is better than Bengals WR corp. Obviously, without Bell and adding Eifert, I'd take Cincy's offensive unit (and line) over Pittsburgh's.

This. Cincy might have the edge at O-Line and a big advantage at TE but the QB, RB & WR's (of Pittsburgh's) are significantly better than Cincy's. I'm just hoping Pittsburgh doesn't get into the playoffs because they are going to be the most dangerous team, imo.Commander of Awesome;1768261 wrote:Rapistfucker is worth like 50 pts where dalton is a -2. 1st and 3rd down defense they have to be among the worst in the league....defense isn't good enough.BR1986FB;1768262 wrote:This. I'm a homer but I'd imagine they are not a SB contending team if they get into the playoffs but I wouldn't want to have to face them in the playoffs....especially if Wheaton and Bryant keep improving.
The line isn't bad....wish Pouncey was back though.
If they don't beat Cincy or Denver I don't think 9-7 will get them in. -
BR1986FB
Oh, I'm not questioning that their defense isn't very good. I just think most teams are hoping they don't get in. That offense is like an Arena League team, through the air. They can win shootouts.Ironman92;1768268 wrote:1st and 3rd down defense they have to be among the worst in the league....defense isn't good enough.

Ironman92And 12 seconds after my post Cardinals score a long one lol

mhs95_06Running back for AZ should be fired for losing 8 yds on first down on a straight ahead running play on the first play after they got into game winning field goal range.
