i can not see Weeden keeping the starting job once Cassel grasps the offense.

If you needed a QB for a football team, would you take Tebow over rg3?

A POS, OK. As in being wrong, you're wrong! RG3 can still be a good qb. Will he, is the question.

You're an idiot if you disagree. He still has one of the best arms in the league. Like originally said, he sucks at reading defenses. Work on his fundamentals and he may still be good.

btw- Joe Theismann, Rex Grossman and Chris Carter agree with me.....

That is not a positive endorsement.

imo- RG3 can still throw the ball pretty damn well. Yes, he sucks at reading defenses but can learn and get better.
He's a project but still the tools are there.
I'm just saying if they were going to bring someone in and the choice was between Tebow and RG3 I'd take Tebow. I think they both suck but at least I don't have to worry about Tebow getting injured.
The best possible guy would have been Kyle Orton but that bridge was burned. As for Cassel I hate giving up a draft pick for him as I don't think he will overtake Weeden. I don't think Weeden will be anything great but I do believe he will be better than he was in Cleveland.

If you already have a QB and are strictly going on value (and ignoring acquisition cost), it's RGIII and not close. The problem is, there are other barriers to getting RGIII. Tebow you could have for league minimum.

It's a whole different world if you're bringing RGIII in to actually start and you're having to pay with picks/payroll to obtain him.

I'm not sure a statement has ever left more middle ground.

He going to be asked to run a team who will try to run the ball 75% of the time and run the play clock down on every play. I would agree, Dallas will not be as bad as people predict and they are still the favorites in a bad division, but man, they are going to play some boring ass games for the next 2 months.

That's like being a student and saying, I don't think I got an A on the test, but I do believe I got at least 10% of the questions right.

Chancellor back with the Seahawks. Damn - I was hoping he'd wait until after the Bengals game.

I think Dan Quinn leaving will keep the Seahawks D from ever being what it was. Good, yes. Good enough to be scared of them coming into Cincinnati? No way. Just look at Atlanta's defense and how it went from one of, if not the softest in the NFL, to actually looking decent (without a ton of talent).

^^Definitely agree. He's a freak regardless of his coach though. Actually one of my favorite players to watch.

On another note, over/under on how many rounds Pacman Jones and Steve Smith go this Sunday? Two of the biggest trash talkers ever in the NFL.

Hopefully they punch each other unconscious. Hate both of them.

Bengals luckier than hell. 2 dropped interceptions, 2 penalties to give them 1st downs, recovered fumble

    Weedenboys up 14-0 already
  • wildcats20
Randle with 86 and 2 TDs already. But Weeden is playing well.

    21-7 Weedenboys

Eagles handling the Jets in the first half

Short passing galore but Weeden is 9/9 so far

I'm late on posting about this but how anyone could say that Tyler Eifert non-TD should not have been a catch is beyond me. Took 3 or 4 steps, turned, extended the ball 3 feet over the goal line. That play should have been dead when the ball crossed the plane. Such an awful rule.

TD if it was a running play. It is dumb.
