2015 NFL Regular Season Chatter

Laley23Completely off topic, but thought the Browns MIGHT get a SNF game in week 9. NBC trying to flex out of Philly-Dallas already with the Romo injury and I knew Browns-Bengals was that week. Didn't realize it was Thursday though...
Will probably end up Broncos-Colts. -
friendfromlowryBigger surprise 0-2 start: Ravens, Seahawks, or Colts?
-
Laley23
Colts easy. I looked at their schedule before season and thought 13-3 was a very fair outlook.friendfromlowry;1752365 wrote:Bigger surprise 0-2 start: Ravens, Seahawks, or Colts? -
IliketurtlesYeah definitely the Colts starting 0-2.
I didn't know this but according to a friend yesterday was the first time in history the Jags, Bucs, Browns, Redskins, and Raiders all won on the same day. It also caused our survivor league of 25 people to be done after week 2. -

I know, they keep playing like this and even winning their utter piece of shit division might not be a 100% lock.friendfromlowry;1752355 wrote:Can't believe how miserable Indianapolis has looked. -
like_thatThe Colts also started 0-2 last year (granted against allegedly better teams), before they started playing their shitty division. Same thing this year, they now get to play the titans, jags, and houston. I think the Colts will be fine. There is just too much football to be played.

Azubuike24AFC South = NFC South from a year ago. The winner might go .500. They still play New England, at Carolina, vs Denver, at Atlanta, at Pittsburgh, at Miami...

I'd be willing to take that bet. The colts will be over .500. The NFC East on the other hand... If the Eagles lose to the jets next week, I can see the NFC East winner being 8-8.Azubuike24;1752396 wrote:AFC South = NFC South from a year ago. The winner might go .500. Azubuike24I don't think I'd make the best that they won't, but they have really put themselves behind the 8-ball to get any home field advantage. I'll say 9-7 based on their schedule, losses vs New England, vs Denver, at Atlanta, at Pittsburgh and one more game they should probably win.
-
Azubuike24...and if Dallas acquired Robert Griffin, I'm pretty sure ESPN would implode.

Is this really a rumor?Azubuike24;1752412 wrote:...and if Dallas acquired Robert Griffin, I'm pretty sure ESPN would implode. -
Azubuike24I've seen it rumbled around a few places, but who knows. Logically, other than them being in the same division, a lot of the other factors make sense.
Griffin is from Texas. Romo is gonna be 37. Dallas has no QB replacement. The Redskins have exiled RGIII. Dallas could afford to pay him and might give the Skins the best offer.
Both front offices are crazy and unpredictable so I wouldn't rule out it being discussed. Who knows if Jones and Snyder even talk.
It would be one of those situations you would be so sick of after just a day, but it would be too much drama and intrigue to NOT follow it. -
wildcats20I'd rather have Tebow.
-
Azubuike24Jerry Jones might just have a big enough ego to take the risk given the slim hopes RGIII returns to form. Said risk would possibly bury the Redskins franchise for 20 years.

The Redskins will be buried as long as Snyder is alive. He's utterly incompetent, surrounds himself with yes-men and works tirelessly to buy out any dissent in the local media in an effort to have all Redskins news come from his propaganda department. They are the franchise most deserving of fans like Iqqy.Azubuike24;1752425 wrote:Jerry Jones might just have a big enough ego to take the risk given the slim hopes RGIII returns to form. Great Moments In Jerry Jones' History.
Not up there with groping on hookers (or Chris Christie), but still, comic relief for one and all. -
wildcats20Lol CBS is reporting that TO is trying to convince the Cowboys to bring him back

I'd rather have Tebow over RG3 as well. I think there is no way the Redskins trade RG3 and if they do the Cowboys are the last team they would trade with.wildcats20;1752445 wrote:Lol CBS is reporting that TO is trying to convince the Cowboys to bring him back
As for TO or Moss I wouldn't mind seeing what they could do. Street and Butler are not going to cut it especially without Romo. -
wildcats20Cowboys acquire Matt Cassel from Bills.

SportsAndLadyFront page of ESPN: Jets confirm Fitzpatrick is Jets starting QB
ESPN sucks...they just had to get a fucking NY headline in there. No shit Fitz is their fucking starting QB, they're 2-0 with him and Geno isn't back for another month. SMH -

There wasn't. It talks about immediate future but the whole point is when Geno gets back, which isn't suppose to be until at least week 6.If there was any doubt about the Jets' immediate future at quarterback, it was erased Tuesday by Todd Bowles, who indicated that Fitzpatrick will remain the starter when Smith returns from his fractured jaw. -

Are you talking to fill an immediate hole in the lineup?Iliketurtles;1752448 wrote:I'd rather have Tebow over RG3 as well..
imo- RG3 can still throw the ball pretty damn well. Yes, he sucks at reading defenses but can learn and get better.
He's a project but still the tools are there. -

AutomatikHe lacks one of the primary tools to get it done in the NFL....his fucking brain. Also his attitude. It's very obvious that no one in the Redskins organization want to deal with his bitchass.
I have no problem admitting I was off on RG3, I thought he'd be a stud. -

This, just stfu Said. You went all in on RG3, thought you were funny with your trolling, now you are a POS that can't admit you were wrong.SportsAndLady;1752533 wrote:He sucks. Admit you were wrong, Said.
