Decent points. The new rookie wage scale will help lessen the effects when high draft picks bomb. Used to be a bad draft pick could hamper the franchise for 4-6 years with the size of the deal. Now it is a little easier to take.BR1986FB;1722074 wrote:http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2015/4/16/8409157/nfl-draft-2015-busts-hits-sorry-browns-fans -

Yes, Tim Tebow deal is happening in Philadelphia, as @JayGlazer reported. -

Doubt he makes the squad. They are bringing him in as a 4th QB. Probably just roster filler for offseason programs until he gets released.HighRoller74;1722590 wrote:Fuck me running.

Probably a decent chance at that. Bring him in, learn the system, and get him PT in the preseason.BR1986FB;1722633 wrote:Doubt he makes the squad. They are bringing him in as a 4th QB. Probably just roster filler for offseason programs until he gets released.
WHen the games start and if the eagles suffer QB injuries they will have him to fall back on and sign. They know he wont likely get signed elsewhere and basically will be the de facto 3rd or 4th stringer without even being on the roster. -

My thoughts are if they thought Tebow was a viable QB option, they would've signed him immediately. Kelly is probably thinking similarly to what you said. His system could lead to QB injuries galore so having a backup plan, who knows the system, is smart business. Assuming Kelly didn't ask him to throw a lot, Tebow is probably a good fit for that system.thavoice;1722680 wrote:Probably a decent chance at that. Agreed. He doesnt throw very well but in reality if you are down to your 3-4 QB in the NFL all shit has already hit the fan already and if the worst case scenario is having a guy, like Tebow, who can run your system and wont be afraid to lay his body on the line to make it all work then you are better off than most places. -
Lovejoy1984In all sincerity, I wish Tebow well.
But the incessant media coverage that will be sure to follow him signing, turns me off on all things Tebow related.
I agree with both your sentiments that he's likely to not make the roster. -

It only took about an hour for someone much smarter than Revis to tell him to STFU and claim that his instagram was hacked.like_that;1720941 wrote:This brought the lulz. http://deadspin.com/darrelle-revis-argues-with-instagram-trolls-1697320753?utm_campaign=socialflow_deadspin_facebook&utm_source=deadspin_facebook&utm_medium=socialflow -
thavoiceJust "fun" shit to talk about until the draft. Doubt much of anything happens.

sleeperI want nothing to do with Winston or Mariota. Rather have Manziel back there wasting space until a real solution comes along.

BR1986FBFirst schedule leak....Bears at Packers on Thanksgiving night.

AutomatikPittsburgh opens the season on Thursday night at NE.

Both without their RB. Interesting. Was Hoping the Browns would draw the steelers in back to back weeks to start the season.Automatik;1723059 wrote:Pittsburgh opens the season on Thursday night at NE. -

You certain about that?Automatik;1723059 wrote:Pittsburgh opens the season on Thursday night at NE.
I know there has been speculation on steelers sites about that but ntohing I heard was concrete. Most was just talk how it would be the logical choice.
Sure....beating N.E., on the road, in prime time, without Bell, will be a piece of cake, right? -
AutomatikI'm never happy about playing NE, especially in their house. Let's just hope it's close than the last one.

Only hope is if they are too hyped up and forget that there is a game to play.
Oh well. Man I hate starting the season 0-1. -

It's not even May and you are already trying to hard with your reverse jinx bs. I'm sure ironman will follow suit.thavoice;1723063 wrote:True.

Laley23Well, the Colts might have the #1 seed locked up already.
I havent looked at everyones schedule, but tough to envision an easier road to 14-2/13-3
