2015 NFL Regular Season Chatter

like_thatShould be interesting to see what the Seahawks do. There are talks about extending Wagner's contract, but are they going to be able to afford it when Wilson apparently will be looking for a 100+ million dollar contract.
I heard an interesting stat on SVP/Russillo today. When Russell Wilson's QBR is worse than the opposing QB's QBR, his record is 12-7. The closest to Wilson's record is Tom Brady at 11-20 (i might be a little off). Aaron Rodgers.... 1-17. -
Lovejoy1984In no way shape or form is he worth 100m, but hell Andy Dalton got around that much, so no doubt he gets it.

Assuming you mean the QBR in that game or the season QBR going into the game?like_that;1702752 wrote:Should be interesting to see what the Seahawks do. I could see him taking less, he seems sensible, but his agent will of course get as much as possible. Dalton's deal has many things in it that dont hurt the bengals for a long time if they choose to get rid of him.
Just like in the NFC championship, Russell was terrible but at the very end stepped it up. Although I dont like the Seahawks, one cannot just root against Russell, or at least I cant. The off season will be interesting, no doubt. Peyton will be making his decision, which I believe he comes back. -

QBR in the game. I doubt he will settle for less. He just had a divorce last off season.thavoice;1702757 wrote:Assuming you mean the QBR in that game or the season QBR going into the game?

Lovejoy1984I can't see him taking less, he'd be the first person I can remember taking less on their first Big money deal.

Well hell, he had a great 2014 then!like_that;1702760 wrote:QBR in the game. I doubt he will settle for less. He just had a divorce last off season.
I just meant that he seems more sensible and would be open to not asking for all he can get, but who knows.
What makes him more valuable than the other mobile QBs is he just doesnt seem to take many hits. I always thought on the read option play that the backside DE/OLB that the QB reads should go right after the QB instead of waiting there (or chasing the RB and having the QB keep it). -
BR1986FBProbably the most aggressive D'Qwell "I like to tackle the ball carrier 5 yards down field, Andra Davis style" Jackson has ever been....

Seems to be some 'old' info in that. Apparently it was teh Colts GM who notified the NFL to check the balls from past rumblings...BR1986FB;1702952 wrote:Probably the most aggressive D'Qwell "I like to tackle the ball carrier 5 yards down field, Andra Davis style" Jackson has ever been....

I just posted it because I had to laugh about Jackson assaulting anyone. All we've heard about is how he's such a "class act" and a "standup guy."thavoice;1702953 wrote:Seems to be some 'old' info in that. Nate Burleson broke his arm when he tried to take it out of the delivery guys' hands.thavoice;1702960 wrote: I wonder what happened to the pizza. -

DQ is better than you're giving him credit for. No one will confuse him for Ray Lewis, but he's not a total bum.BR1986FB;1702952 wrote:Probably the most aggressive D'Qwell "I like to tackle the ball carrier 5 yards down field, Ben Taylor style" Jackson has ever been....

Who said DQ was a "total bum?" He was a serviceable LB who rarely, if ever, made any impact plays behind the LOS, just like Andra Davis. They were tackling machines but most of their play wasn't impactful or game changing. Pretty much "JAG's"Commander of Awesome;1703364 wrote:DQ is better than you're giving him credit for. Yeah he's not a thumper run stopping LB for sure. He was pretty damn good coverage LBer though if memory serves correct.BR1986FB;1703397 wrote:Who said DQ was a "total bum?" This is pretty standard procedure but what IS embarrassing is that the "pizza of the NFL", Papa John's, was running "congratulations to the Seattle Seahawks on back to back Super Bowl victories" commercials on TBS and some other obscure station before the ads were pulled. How in the Hell does that happen?Ironman92;1703451 wrote: -

My guess is because the Forum is there, where the Lakers played before the Staples Center.Classyposter58;1704570 wrote:Why are the Rams looking at moving to Inglewood? I thought that was one of the worst parts of LA -

Because that is where they have found enough land to develop a stadium, and a ton of other things. It is supposed to be a pretty sweet setup with everything right there for one helluva good time.Classyposter58;1704570 wrote:Why are the Rams looking at moving to Inglewood? Pick6I would bet the Rams go to the Coliseum if they go to LA.
