You seriously want to keep these guys around? Look at the organizations who win constantly... They don't put up with this garbage. It's a "My way or the highway" mindset, and if players don't buy in, they are kicked to the curb pretty quickly.

    You're so short-sighted it's comical...

Yes, let's package our first round pick QB from last year and our second round supp draft pick from two years ago who happened to make the pro bowl last year for a third round pick.

Genius organizational moves there. I wish I wasn't so short sighted and saw things like you see them.

If they don't believe Gordon will turn it around (nothing makes me think he will) Id rather get a 3rd round now then nothing when he's suspended for the whole yr next season.

I'd rather Gordon get his act together and pwn for the browns though.

Reminds me of the immaturity of Michael Irvin....he figured it out but guys like Santonio Holmes did not.

The portion of Bernie's rant that I agreed with is that culture needs to change. I believe Pettine has begun the process, but "ME" guys need to go. This includes Gordon, Manziel, and did include Tate who they already let go weeks ago.
I'd be more focused on trading Gordon, but Manziel is certainly heading down that path.

The BSPN article doesn't make it sound good:
Both Gordon and rookie quarterback Johnny Manziel were absent from the Browns' walk-through Saturday morning, and the team had trouble locating them

I honestly don't care if either are on the roster next season. Strong organizations don't put up with this stuff. The Seahawks shipped Percy Harvin out for his attitude, and Belichick basically benched a guy that ran for 200yds and 4td's the game before he was late for a team meeting. Pettine seems like a no nonsense guy, and shouldn't be saddled with these guys we he's trying to change the culture. Gordon's probably trying to get released, and he'll get signed by someone, but Johnny might want to start brushing up on Canadian football rules.

The good Dr. is right in saying trade them but Gordon himself is easily worth a 2nd rd. pick. He can't make another pro bowl if he's not on the field. As for Johnny F-up, he's is not worth spit.

Harvin would still be in Seattle if he could stay healthy. Also, if we had Tom Brady behind center and BB as our coach I would have no problem shipping Gordon for a 3rd. But we don't. We have QBs who look like shit and a bunch of borderline #2 or 3 receivers. We simply cant afford to just give them away.

So CBS is reporting that the Browns had to send team security to find JM for practice Saturday because he threw a big party Friday and couldn't be bothered to show up for work. Won't be mad at all if they cut/trade his ass this off season.

Lol! Now Gilbert is going to inactive for being late to a team meeting last night. What a fucking joke this end of the season is Unfucking real. Wow
  • shook_17
@AdamSchefter: Cleveland's other 1st-RD pick, Justin Gilbert, was late for team meeting last night and is expected to be inactive today, per league source.

Bottom line- this organization has made some progress, but overall still a clusterfuck.

    "Clusterfuck"........ Good description.

I've got my Browns t-shirt and hoody on for the last time this season.

    Go Browns.

@FSOhioZJackson: I'm waiting for one of Ed Reed's grandkids to pick off one of Connor Shaw's warmup tosses and complete the Browns-Ravens circle of life.

    I lold haha

From tony Grossi. I'd love this move.

Hey Steve: I have heard the Browns are considering Suh as a prime free agent target. They are once again among the league leaders in projected salary cap room and may be willing to make him the highest-paid defensive lineman in NFL history. That’s the type of contract it will take to attract Suh. His defensive line teammate, Nick Fairley, also is a free agent and would be considered a consolation prize to teams failing to land Suh.

I'd give it about a 0.3% of signing either of them.

Going to watch this one. I believe the Browns will come out hard with pride and give some problems to the rookies blocking for Flacco....at some point the Ravens will be playing for their playoff lives and pull away but I hope the Browns beat them and ensure they stay out of the playoffs

Suh already stated his agent will pick his team. So that means whoever offers the most money will get suh

lol, yeah, I'm a bit hung over after last night, so watching the equal of a monkey throwing piles of shit and rubbing it all over itself is just the sort of thing that's gonna provide a lot of laughter today, I think.
  • se-alum
Well, at least Shaw looked like he knew what the plays were.
  • Ironman92
Looked like Gabriel gave up a bit on that scramble extended play by Shaw.....got it a lot farther downfield than I thought he could.
