  He's going to sign some big ass contract in a while with another team and I hate that players can be so irresponsible and then collect $$$$ like few others....and if he never matures he'll piss it all away.

  I'd be surprised if he gets a big contract from anyone. He's obviously not grown up, and is one test from missing an entire season.

  Good friend of mine in Chicago is an artsy guy...doesn't really follow sports too closely but is somewhat a sports fan.
  
  He doesn't have teams other then he loves the Dayton flyers bball since he went there.
  
  About two years ago, he was looking for an NFL team to follow since we all have our teams and go to bars and watch them. He decided, after thinking heavily of the most random team he can start to root for (zero connections to the team) and came up with the Seahawks.
  
  First season as a Seahawks fan, and they win the super bowl.
  
  As a Browns fan, it couldn't have pissed me off any more. Been a Browns fan my whole life and I've seen one God damn playoff game. He chooses a team (back when they weren't a top team like they are now, so it's not like he chose the NE patriots) and within 8 months has a super bowl.

  I'm leaning towards the opinion that they should trade him as soon as they can and get what they can out of him while he is still on a friendly contract. More likely than not, he will either A) end up gone from the league for good, B) not re-sign and go to another team or C) the Browns just end up cutting him outright then he signs with the Pats and wins a super bowl with them.
  
  He's a great talent, but at some point you have to quit while you're ahead or you'll walk away empty handed. Hard to change the culture of an organization with players of his character.

  I do want cleveland to win a championship just to see what all goes o afterwards (hopefully the Cavs of not I wouldn't mind the Indians as long as they weren't playing the Reds)....also, regardless of their fans...I still want the Cubs to win a World Series (will happen in the next decade)

  Seeing on Twitter it depends if they decide to suspend with or without pay. Without pay- they get the extra year.

  Wow that's hard to believe. They could have fucked him over easily then. That gives teams a lot of power. I assume the NFL has some type of language that would constitute a legitimate no-pay suspension. If so, I would suspend him without pay easily. Fuck him. Get the extra year and make his contract worth much more for either the team or in a deal.

  I read that O'Neill has tried to talk him out of it all year. Unfortunately, it don't look like he was successful.

  Was having this conversation with a buddy tonight. I'd trade them both for a 3rd round pick. The portion of Bernie's rant that I agreed with is that culture needs to change. I believe Pettine has begun the process, but "ME" guys need to go. This includes Gordon, Manziel, and did include Tate who they already let go weeks ago.
