Browns End of 2014 Season Thread (Iggy-free)

  • Commander of Awesome
Alright enough of the Pettine is going to be fired BS (lolbrlol).

    Bengals at Browns

    Let go JFF.

#Browns Gipson said he's hoping to play against the Panthers in 2 weeks. Said knee is feeling good.
Probably get Dansby back this week too.

Stat of the day- Browns are ranked #1 by @PFF in terms of pass defense, more than double the #2 team Seattle. Crazy

Take that up with the offense. Even Cameron said "we suck" when speaking about the offense.

Yes, they gave up a 90 yard, game winning drive when the D needed to step up the most but they get a "pass" after one of the best performances I've seen by a Browns defense in a long time.

The offense should be hanging their heads in shame but good old "Brandon" Hoyer with his "not my fault" bullshit can kiss my ass.

I meant they as in the team.

They sucked earlier in the year. Hoyer played decent earlier in the year. Joe Haden played like shit earlier in the year (said by many people that weren't me). Things change. Your point?

Stick the game. Pissing match in the colts or buttwedge thread. Thanks

Was typing my reply to him when you posted that. I'm more than willing to stick to the topic of the game.

This is what I mean by "they find ways to lose." If our defense is pwning our offense finds a way to fuck it up. If our offense is pwning our defense finds a way to fuck it up.

Hoping to see laughably bad Andy Dalton this weekend!

Also, as well as the defense played in turning over Andrew Luck, I don't give them a pass for letting a team go 90 yards for the game winning TD.

Seems like they don't have too many perfect games. They had both sides play well against Pittsburgh & Cincy.

After yesterday, I'll change my previous comments and say this is a pretty damn good team when they want to be. The weak ass QB play is holding them back from being legit.

That's always fun. Cruel, but so fun!

I just noticed that the first place Bengals are the only team in the conference that has allowed more points than scored.

    That's crazy!

Their defense isn't that good. They miss Vontaze Burfict a lot. Not only is he solid but he brings a swag/attitude to their D.

He is huge for their run D too.

Gordon still doesn't have a TD catch. Still on the pipe Josh?
  • Commander of Awesome
La Confora says 99% chance Manziel starts, he's usually pretty credible.
  • Lovejoy1984
    See ya next week, Tiernan.
  • Tiernan
Oh I'll be right here Eyeballer kicking ass and taking names as usual.

Marvin on Browns QB status impacting preps: "No, you defend the offense, not the QB, particularly a midget" #Bengals Line @holygrailbanks

Hopefully our defense plays lights out and Manziel controls the game with no turnovers and makes plays when he has too. And also hopefully or defense doesn't forget that fuck stick hill for running his mouth after we spanked em on Thursday night.

Browns defense SHOULD be enough to walk out after the game with an 8-6 record. At Cleveland...should be an extra additive to seal the win after embarrassing Cincy in Cincy.

That being mentioned...I have to believe that after that game they were embarrassed watching film and reflecting. The Bengals not only need a win but if they have any pride at all they have to bring it all 4 quarters and wear the chip on their shoulders.....this along with the NFL often goes opposite of what conventional wisdom says.

As a Steelers fan I prefer the Browns to win but I'm guessing the Bengals take it 24-23.

The new era in Cleveland starts Sunday. You will see rookie mistakes. You will also see an offense that scores 30 plus points. The brilliant Kyle Shanaham will design more plays where the receivers will be running wide open. Only this week,t the balls will find their target. If the defense can bring the same emotion to this game as they did yesterday, it will be a blowout...something like 34-13.

The Hoyer apologists are going to get a double dose of humble pie shoved down their throats. Next Monday, Pettine will feel the wrath of unhappy fans who will be clamoring "what took you so long"?
