Been hearing about this today. Apparently he is acting like Seneca Wallace. If true, he needs to grow up. He is only going to hurt himself moving forward. Also, i am not sure if the Browns should cut him. That is unnecessary drama for the last 3 weeks of the season, especially when we are mathematically still in this.

He's kind of been a whiner all year. If what is being said is true, I'd have no issue with them releasing him. With the expectation of JFF finishing the season, they can always grab Grossman off the scrap heap.

Not to put the cart ahead of the horse because they need to win this one, but if they do win Sunday, they may have caught a break in that it sounds like Cam Newton suffered a back injury in that accident. I don't like to see most players injured, except Pig Ben, but that could mean we'll see our old buddy DA.

no last week going to the game I wasn't to excited. Have you watched Hoyer last last three fucking games? Yeah bc one can get so amped up knowing hoyers going to go out there and suck dick. Everybody knew it was going. To happen. I was very excited the first series I saw the defense. And how fucking dare you compare me two those two fucks

Hoyer has sucked dick for 5 weeks now. Like truly sucked something awful.

From the reports we’ve been receiving pretty much from day one of Manziel being drafted by the Browns, Hoyer has treated him fairly poorly. Nasty attitude, refusal to mentor him, and at times an unwillingness to even practice with him.
I said Hoyer was a cancer back in July and everyone was completely outraged.

I don't say things to be outrageous. I knew this guy was a bum as both a player and a person and every day he spent on this roster was a colossal waste of time.

If he was half as good as he thinks he is he'd be freaking Joe Montana. It's just the kind of guy he is.

I hope he gets cut, he deserves the humiliation of it.

When Johnny went diving into the end zone , the shot of Hoyer turning his back in disdain was all I needed to see. Wouldn't surprise me at all if they cut his sorry ass.

I fully expect the Browns offense to mirror the Broncos and Packers with Manziel at QB. It's nice to have a guy back there that is guaranteed to complete 69% of his passes. Should be fun to watch!

Colin Cowherd made an interesting point today about all of analysts being mad Hoyer is getting benched. Said they're all just mad because Manziel is the cocky rookie and don't want to see him succeed like Hoyer because most of them have been in Hoyer's position before so it's somewhat personal. I'm personally glad Hoyer is getting the boot, Cleveland is winning games despite him not because of him

I like Cowherd most of the time, but that is ridiculous.

I disagree. Just hearing the roundtable on ESPN none of their arguments for Hoyer were fact-driven at all

I have no doubt it's about Manziel's personality, but the part about them being likened to Hoyer is dumb. Manziel is a polarizing figure, and that's all there is to it.

Most of his argument was about the personality but he threw the likening in there as well. I am glad though he is speaking the truth, Hoyer does not deserve to start and is below average

Not a single analyst I have read/heard were upset about Hoyer benching. Many (if not all) thought he should have been benched last week. Nice fail

As Abbott sadf to Costello..."now you've got it". Your boy has been benched. Deal with it.

Trent Dilfer is one of the biggest dipshits at ESPN. I wouldn't be surprised at all if it were true in his case.

Take it FWIW, but I had a dream last night that JFF flopped in his first start.

Not really going out on a limb there. Wasn't meant to be a personal shot, just that it wouldn't surprise anyone, except for maybe three on here (Iggy, FW & Shook), if Manziel stunk up the joint.

92.3 was on NFL AM this morning and either Eric Davis or Lavar Arrington made a comment that Manziel could be destined to fail with the fans lofty expectations of him. Some are expecting some huge offensive output in his first game. It may happen, but odds are, he probably won't look stellar. And, of course, Booms douched up the broadcast yelling "Johnnnnnnnnnnny" at the top of his lungs, per usual.

I'm being conservative in my expectations of him. Yes, I'd love it if he "wrecked the league" in his first start but I expect there to be growing pains.

Fans expectations have nothing to do with a QBs success. He's either good or he's not.

I know that. I'm just saying if some of these people think JFF is going to go out there, in his first start, and throw for 300 yards, 3 TD's and run for another, they are probably in for a big letdown.

Yes, we will take a Cowboys fan's dream for what it's worth.

Those people are more than likely not Browns fans and are JFF fans and I couldn't care less about them.

I hope JFF is a star in the league, but god damn I can already tell I'm going to hate his fanbase that came along with drafting him.

Agreed. If he stinks it up in his first start, you can likely bet that they will be using the same excuses (receivers ran poor routes, drops, O-Line played poor, etc) that they overlooked and ripped Hoyer for.
