I took it as 9 out of 10 people are looking past him already.

I know I'm not counting on him one bit. Yes, he could completely turn it around but I'm extremely skeptical. Even if he does do a 360, what happens if he does find success? How long before he reverts back to "Bad Johnny?" I'm rooting for the kid, as a person, to get his shit straight (first & foremost) but I'm doubtful he's the franchise QB they've been looking for.

    Dont you mean 180? :RpS_flapper:

I was never a big believer in JFF, and that hasn't changed. Even without the addiction I thought he'd be a bum in the NFL.

    Yeah, that too. :D

The aptitude he showed is that of a scout team QB.

LOL @ Farmer's "tarnished reputation". It's a 4 game suspension for text messaging.

If he's good, who really cares (as long as its not a detriment to himself). Nobody cares about Gronk because he produces.

Nothing to do with the rules or suspension, but I think a reputation for meddling in shit that isn't any of his business could definitely be relevant for future job opportunities.

For those who love the draft, my cousin put together an extensive 185 draft guide for purchase at the link below. He's a local neo guy, and has over 30k followers on twitter. Just thought I'd share here...

"The Browns ran out of gas last season." No we didn't we succumbed to the loss of an Pro Bowl center. You and COA always put ESPN on blast and I always agree. That article was AWFUL

She looks great considering her grille exploded on her.

I'll post ESPN's crap but, for the most part, it's terrible.

I'm starting to see more & more the "journalist's" habits of seeing one person post a story and then everyone else running with it, spinning it to their own style. When one of these national guys posts a story with MKC as their "source" it makes me cringe.

This is the same chick who took one of her high school son's buddy's tweets and ran with it as a "breaking story." Seems like these guys don't have to be accountable anymore.

I used to like guys like LaCanfora but now he's just bitter because his buddy Mike Lombardi got sent packing by the Browns.

You all hate it, yet still read it. I'm more confused about that.

The only time I get on their webpage is to check the Cavs/Tribe's boxscores. When I post an ESPN article, it's most likely from another page reposting it.

Bret Favre had a documented problem with addiction, and he turned out OK....who says that Johnny can't?

Wait.....everybody.....yea.....I tend to side with everybody on this case.......

Exception, not the rule with Farve.
  • BR1986FB
^^^ I also don't recall Favre being as arrogant/polarizing as Manziel.

I hated Weeden before the Browns drafted him, and even I gave him a chance. So, I am going to give JFF a chance.

Oh, I'm definitely rooting FOR him as it would be a great story but I'm skeptical he will overcome.

We're all rooting FOR him right? I mean I know there's some fans who just hate him and want him to fail, but I feel like that's the general consensus: rooting FOR him but being realistically skeptical

There's plenty hoping he will fail. Hell, I couldn't stand Frye & McCoy but I'd hoped that they would succeed so this QB nightmare would end.
