Yeah, I'll wait on a reputable source. Never heard of that fan site before. According to OBR, no offer was made as of yesterday.

This. Lovie being lovie. He's not a good HC, and I expect him to be canned after this season.

I'd rather Cameron walk. More $ to spend on more valuable positions and an extra pick (provided them make the qualifying offer).

I dont know, TE can be a very important position, and they have $$$$ to burn. Find it hard to believe though that he would turn down that sort of deal coming off of his concussion issues.

It's important, and there are plenty of TEs who can do what Cameron can do...and stay healthy...and are cheaper.

Yep. Scout the NCAA Tournament and find someone to draft late/Sign as FA and develop.

Sign an decent TE on a 1/2 year deal. Plenty of them out there.

I guess the big if is if he stays healthy. Unfortunately he has struggled to do that. A healthy Cameron is a top 5 TE in the league imo. Not many TEs can make big plays like he does.

While he may be top 5 when healthy, he is closer to the guys behind him then those ahead. I think he is very replaceable.

    Graham
    Gronk
    Thomas

Hope he continues what he started at osu.

One thing about big DL....they seem to drop off pretty quickly. The constant pounding they take is brutal to their bodies. May just be my perception but it just seems that position usually sees less of a general, slow decline but more of a fast drop.

Not a bad mock, but I'd take Strong in Round 2 instead of Grayson.

Agreed, Grayson is a bum. Not the biggest Strong fan, but wouldn't QQ. Rather Go bennet there and shore up the dline with a top shelf talent than get a WR who I dont think has elite/special talent.

I'd also consider Devin Fuchess with this point. LOL at Grayson.

Also, I like the RT as a priority, but I dont see that happening. Also said "plans to move schwatrz inside" which is wild speculation. I don't see him moving to guard successfully. Could see Hundley, Devin Smith, or Coates there as well.

If we can get Funchess I'm cool with letting Cameron walk.

Prob is FA is before draft. I 'd like to keep Cameron bc our offense weapons are terrible. However if he's turning down the deal reported (still very skeptical of that, and be pissed if browns offered that to him tbh he could very easily not play a single regular season down due to concussions) then let him go.
  • lhslep134
Right. My take is based on him reportedly turning down the $6/7/yr deal. I agree it's not worth paying that much money to a guy that injury prone.

Do not want Funchess. Absolutely no heart in the player.

Not to mention suspect hands. We don't need another UM product that can't catch.

Has there been an refutable source saying he turned that deal down?

You mean reputable? I think the first source was refutable, but wouldn't say I've heard a reputable source yet. :RpS_flapper:

He has the Patriots taking 3 Buckeye's in the first 4 rounds.

Interesting that he has Devin Smith taken before Sammy Coates....

Not to mention that Joey Bosa is his #1 selection and Cardale Jones is #3 in the 2016 draft.
