Why are people shocked in year 2 that Farmer is adhering to the same philosophy as last year (avoiding skill position players)

    Shouldn't be a year 3

Based on the fact he has found starters in every draft?

Yeah the first time GM is trolling the fans.

Do you actually believe what you say?

    BRMZ loves the drama.

No I actually don't mind the picks, but you have to address your needs. ALL of them.

We have the same receiver in bowe that strong would be. As much as I do like strong it wouldn't make sense.

Lol they are addressing their needs... They only have a certain amount of picks.

Apparently reading comprehension isn't your strength. Obviously missed the "LOL" at the end.

    They need a WR

True, they also need a pass rusher, dt, a guard/rt, and a QB.
  • Crimson streak
They don't need a wr. Especially when the philosophy is run first and with a incompetent qb play all we need are receivers to move the chains

We've addressed a need with every pick. Zwick is too smitten with WRs to think clearly

For the people QQing about getting a wr, were you the same people that jerked off to Winslow and Braylon when they were drafted?

Exactly. People act like our receivers are so god awful. If I recall we did pretty damn well with Hawkins as our number 1 last year before Mack got hurt

And I said i haven't minded the picks. However, if you're going to give a qb any kind of a fair shake, you gotta get a WR.

Not in Farmer's eyes. He was interviewed last night after the 1st round and was asked about the WR's and he got pretty defensive. I probably would too if I was him and people were always asking him about WR's in interviews and why he "doesn't like receivers." He stated that they are pretty confident in the current group. Now he could still draft one but I wouldn't bet on it being his top priority.

Take the best player available that drops to you (value picks). Needs can be filled other ways.

No but we did QQ when we didn't take one last year in one of the deepest fucking Wr drafts ever.

So saying he shouldn't be around for year 3 was being dramatic? Got it.

They are fine at WR for the type of game they are looking to play. A deep threat would be nice but they have plenty of guys in Bowe, Hartline, Hawkins & Gabriel to move the chains. I guess Benjamin is the closest thing to a deep threat they have.

Overly dramatic, yes. But it is tiresome to keep passing on them.

No. If you're going to give a QB any kind of fair shake, you give him the best chance to win. Trying to craft a top 10 scoring defense and improving the offensive line go a lot further towards helping a QB win football games than a WR does.

By disagreeing, you're implying that a WR will do more to help a QB win than a good defense or a dominant offensive line. LMAO at that line of thinking.
