I know, rite? I should work for BSPN.

What I would like to know is how JR Smith gets suspended for two games for the backhanded face shot and Howard gets to stay in the game and the media hasn't said a word about it?

Evidently, Kyrie went through shoot around today wearing the red starter's jersey. Hope we don't press him to play tonight, although I'm sure he wants to suit up to take some of the burden off of LeBron.

From what I've read, Kyrie is good to play but the coaching staff is keeping him out. I doubt we see him until the NBA finals.

Cavs are going to win tonight, there's really no doubt in anyone's mind they have this locked up.

Now, can the Rockets win another, especially on GSW home court? If they do, I think that series goes to 7 but I highly doubt the Rockets win another.

Those were not the same thing, JR cocked back and knocked Jae Crowder the fuck out, Howard's backhand was a love tap in comparison.

Both plays featured contact to the head with a closed fist. Both punches were in retaliation to a shove in the back. J.R. Smith was ejected. Dwight Howard was given a flagrant-1.

One was a love tap, one was a KO blow.

This is correct. JR has a history. Dwight doesn't (although one seems to be developing). However, the rules state:

Flagrant "2" (FFP2) - unnecessary and excessive contact committed by a player against an opponent.

Is that not a direct definition of the foul that occurred? Anyways, COA is correct. Doesn't matter at this point, and really isn't going to impact the outcome of the series.

They are both bad and they both deserved a suspension. Not sure how anyone can say there's that much of a difference.

Anyway, for tonight's game, I expect the Cavs to win by 10+ easily.

    Yes.

Dwight's was more of a push off on Bogut's face, JR swung to knock out Crowder, which he did. Not even close to being the same thing.

The only real difference is JR will be winning an NBA championship and Dwight will at home watching on TV.

So JR should be punished more because he doesn't hit like a bitch?

    Was my exact thoughts.

Just because Dwight didn't hit knock him out, its ok?

I am sick of all the delly talk, but I had to put some coworkers in their place today. One coworker (hawks "fan") told me if the Cavs advance, there is an asterik to the series, because delladova is a dirty player LOL. I tried to be nice about it with others, but he was the last straw. Sick of dumbasses just recycling ESPN/reggie miller hot takes when they probably have never seen delladova play until the last 2 weeks.

Dwight should be suspended, same with Horford and JR. I think JRs was worse and deserves 2 games because he did a full swing with all his force (aka, didnt punch like a bitch). But, that has to be accounted for. Dwight definitely meant to connect, but he did go full on Tyson mode and more or less pushed off at the end.

Kyrie is playing. Has 25m limit.

    Stupid in my opinion
  • Laley23
Makes no sense. If he cant go full game mode (no pain, no restrictions) there is no point.

Makes me believe his injury really isn't a big concern.
