Not sure but I imagine Pels management thinks they have a higher ceiling with Gentry.

I think KD stays in OKC but if he leaves I think DC is the only spot.

Riley just being a sleezebag. Trying to dangle a pipedream out there for why he doesn't want to sign Wade.

3 potential teams for KD: OKC, Washington, LAL.

He did well as an assistant. He's been fired 3 separate times as a head coach.

Of course, this crap comes out after Love states he's going to be back in Cleveland...

Depends on his ego I guess.
In cleveland he would be the 3rd best option, and in LA the second or maybe even first.

    ....and the $$$ i presume.

All comes down to if he really wants to win a championship or be in it for more selfish reasons. Stay in Cleveland and he will be competing for a title for the foreseeable future.

He's probably being sold that LA can get Rondo, Towns/Okafor, Randle back and Kobe for another year and make a really short-term run at at. I don't think he should go, but I wouldn't also dismiss that they can't win. Better chance at winning than Cleveland? No way. But egos are always involved.

That team wouldn't even make the playoffs.

I'm not saying they would. I'm painting a picture of what Love might be seeing and being sold.

It's the Lakers. They usually end up landing on their feet. People were saying the same stuff before they got Shaq.

Lakers are just not good. Regardless if they get love or not, they aren't making the playoffs. Can you guys stop discussing this nonsense?

I'm sure Love is smart enough to realize that team is garbage.

but they did have one of, if not thee, premier player of the league at that time in Kobe.

If he does opt out and leave that just proves how stupid and self centered he is.

When llilards tweets came out about Lebron, the cavs got their asses kicked. I hope Lebron doesn't need any other motivation other than trying to bring Cleveland its first title in 51 years.

Has Rondo been anything but a cancer since the championship Celtics team split up?

Arguably was still a cancer then.

I can't wait until the Lakers sign him as their "big" FA move this offseason.
