Ironman92This is hard to believe...but I love it

wildcats20Yeah the lineup in Montreal last night blew my mind. Price said it most likely would be very similar to the everyday lineup.

RotinajI'm fine w BP hitting 7th. If he starts out well and the 56 guys are struggling he'll move up. I don't see him moving up any further than that unless he has an insane 1st month and Meso blows, which I don't see happening.

mhs95_06I really like that batting order. Don't change it up for facing RHSP or LHSP, though. It'll have to be changed enough when one or more of the regulars doesn't start. I like two righties between Votto and Bruce, so they can't bring in a lefty to get one, then walk the righty, then get the other. If Billy starts out slow, I advocate moving him to 9th and the pitcher to 8th. With BP batting 7th he won't be able to take them out of so many promising innings by hitting into 2 on, none out double plays! After Bruce Ks with two on and one out, then BP can shine with 2 out RBIs without the risk of a DP!

Billy did indeed start out slow, and Price rightly did move him to #9 in the ordermhs95_06;1718913 wrote:I really like that batting order. Don't change it up for facing RHSP or LHSP, though.
