Disappointed my top two went out in the first two games, but my bottom 3 went out in the next round. So as you see I'll be rooting for an all show-me-state WS, which would be the stealers vs. Molina!

    Fuck the Giants!!

I'm rooting for the American League all the way. I don't care who wins, as long as it's either Baltimore or KC. I loathe the Giants and especially the Cardinals.

Interesting article about the umps doing the NLCS and their percentage of being right on calls.

^^^^wow...I'm shocked. I would have expected that balls and strikes calls to be well over 90% right.....86.5% is dismal. It is even more alarming that guys in the bottom half are actually doing playoff games.

Shocked to see that Joe West ranked 83rd out of 84 umps. Said no one ever.

I know for awhile on the reds telecast they would mention what % of strikes a certain umpired called but never the % right. A buddy of mine is good friends with Jimmy Joyce (who blew that no no call big time) but otherwise a highly thought of umpire told us the umps hated the statiums that used to have that questech (sp?) system rating the balls and strikes calls as it wasnt everywhere.

I always wondered about what % they got right and I would LOVE to see what the settings actually are for the strike zone, particularly where they set the high point at. On tv it is tough at times because of the offset angle but there are many times that catcher receives the pitch, its called a ball, and it had to be considered high but no way it really was. No way a FB drops far from the plate to the catcher, but I digress.

Defense has been the difference....Hardy, Schoop and Pearce have gaffes

SMH at Yost bringing in a rookie

Here's the guy I would've brought in to start inning
  • Ironman92
Swiped him off...greatly disagree. Safe by a mile
  • Laley23
I didnt see ANY daylight. Safe all the way, imo.

Also, that strike 3 call was a good 3 inches inside lol.
  • Laley23
Ok, never mind, he is out on that replay.

However, not sure pushing a leg off like that should be legal.

I've never seen it called before....I've seen numerous times the leg or hand being swiped off and still called safe for that reason.

We'll see what the Royals are made of

Orioles defense cost them early and saved them late

KC pretty much dead once they can't score after bases loaded and no out in the top of the 9th.
  • mhs95_06
Are they going to suspend this game if its tied after 9?

That's wrong! Can Wade Davis go another inning?
