Not defending it. Woulda been nice to keep him on the team especially with Bell getting hurt. Was a knee-jerk reaction from the organization.
Fact remains though the reason he was getting diminished carries was because Bell was taking over and was becoming an every down back. They surely did not think that decision through

I was glad Blount got ran out. He wasn't about the team.

NE was thin at RB, so of course they needed him.

Looking back, it would have been great to have him when Bell got hurt. That could have been his calling and time to step up, but he chose to lower road and walked off on his team.

He was getting carries and chances and then Bell ran wild one game and that game Blount bitched...surprised they released him but Maybe he wanted released.

Doubt he wanted to get released as he had a decent contract for 2 seasons, but the game he did this he didnt get a carry in that game, and the steelers did go 4-1 to end the regular season without him. Bell had over 200 in that game.
I guess conspiracy theorist could say the Pats put him up to it so he would get released and they could pick him up but I dont buy that!

It coulda screwed the steelers in that playoff game, but to be honest if he was doing this wtih 5 more weeks to go then how effective would he have been?

He is a back though that needs to be featured to be most effective and that wasnt going to happen with Bell playing so well and his versatilityl

Patriots vs. Seahawks? Nobody cares. Maybe the commercials will be good.

The 2 best teams in the NFL. A lot of people do care. This is one of the best Super Bowl matchups in a long time.

He's just happy that Manning is out. Pretty sure he has a voodoo doll of him.

I was over that game at halftime.

I doubt you are over Mannings 2007 SB victory.

Im still not sure you have ever given a reason for the amount of hate you have towards him (and others).

There is no hate toward anyone. Just like to escalate things a little bit to get some fun feedback from some of you people. You are taking things too serious and need to relax

Is the NFL finally ready to get rid of the Pro Bowl?
  • Automatik
They need it. It's a fucking joke.

Scrap the game, name an "all pro" team and that's that.

LOL, sounds about right, Andy Dalton going to pro-bowl due to injuries, Super Bowl, childbirth, etc...:

If one of the worst starting QBs of the 2014 season is in the pro bowl, that shows just how worthless the "game" is.
  • Terry_Tate
LOL at Andy Dalton making the Pro Bowl. That should be the final nail in the coffin for the Pro Bowl. Also, how in the world is he ahead of Ryan Tannehill when making it?

NFL found that 11/12 balls used in the Pats game were 2 pounds under-inflated

Just to be clear, 11/12 balls the Pats used were under-inflated. Not both teams using them.

    Yes, thanks for clarification.
