I don't think anyone is mocking him. But go up to your real life friend and tell him that on a free message board you heard that lbj is coming back to Cleveland. Yeah...mucalum49;1628357 wrote:Not sure why we always mock or get into "just stop LBJ isn't coming back" when ohiobucks1 posts something regarding LBJ that came from the Maverick crew. Whether it happens or not, just objective from what seems to be like a decent source (his dad). -
ohiobucks1Whether I believe Maverick or not, he 100% said everything I posted. I'm not a liar, and my dad and his boss are very connected to Lebron and his people. They do business together pretty regularly.

sleeperI'm not sure why everyone thinks Lebron coming back is not going to happen. I think he stays in Miami but it wouldn't surprise me at all to see him headed to Cleveland. I just don't think Parker is what you draft if you want LBJ back; I'd think Embiid or Wiggins is the better choice.

Nah I know. Not sure if I had a point but it seems like anytime he posts that Maverick said something to his Dad it turns into "zomg it'll never happen" "screw LBJ we don't want him back". Maybe exaggerating over a few posts. Just rather read this then pissing and moaning that goes on in other threads.SportsAndLady;1628369 wrote:I don't think anyone is mocking him. With Embiid less likely I think I'm on the Wiggins bandwagon now.sleeper;1628376 wrote:I'm not sure why everyone thinks Lebron coming back is not going to happen. The final two rounds are single elimination. MTA went 19-9 in Euroleague this year (prior to the single elimination tourny) and 3 were losses during the final 16 group stage to the teams they ended up beating in the final two rounds. I was reading up before the finale and they were given a 0% chance of beating Real Madrid. They won when it counted the most.like_that;1628161 wrote: The Euroleague tourney is practically a single elimination tourney. I would not mind it if he finally brought Baby Shaq over with him. Haha. -
Midstate01I'll never understand someone saying they don't want the best player in basketball back... why? Simply still just butthurt? Said you hated him and don't want to look like a hypocrite? You don't like winning? I just don't get it.

Lebron and Mavrick do business with the company my dad is a VP of. He's also the president of a brand within that brand which they also do business with.
My dad, Lebron, Mavrick, and my dad's boss, commonly go yachting in key biscane on my dad's bosses yacht. They are "friends". I met Lebron last year and he was a douche to me so IDGAF what he does. -
KB0938Theres gonna be random rumors like that from now until Melo and James decide to sign somewhere. I personally think almost 99.9% of them carry absolutely no weight

There's two douchey lebron stories. It actually was 2 years ago now (time flies, damn).
1. When OSU played Duke (2 years ago), my Dad helped set him and Dwade and Maverick coming to the game (he's good friends with matta, and told matta lebron was interested so Matta got him courtside seats) so we got to meet them in the box at halftime. Lebron couldnt wait to get out of there, and didn't speak to anyone the whole time (was in there the entire halftime). He just kept ignoring people and even said no when asked to take a picture with 4-5 teenagers and he didn't GAF,but Dwade was a boss and took pictures with all of us and was really friendly.
2. Also I met him once before (had to have been like 6 years ago now), because I got to go to a business deal as I was shadowing my dad for the summer. It was before he did "the decision", and he told everyone on our end that he was going to stay in Cleveland no question about it, so they created the "King James Court" furniture line which was featured in mostly Ohio stores.
Fast forward less than a year and he had "the decision" and the whole line was a flop in Ohio (obviously). Screwed the company over pretty hard, but he made up for it by letting them use his likeness for their miami stores too, so I guess that's not THAT douchey.
P.S - On a random yet intereresting note, he let his girlfriend (now wife) make all his business decisions for him. She's actually a really smart lady. -
robj55Have a friend who plays in Belgium who actually played against Blatt's team last year in the pre-season. He was very complimentary of how well coached they were and disciplined. Said he seemed to be in total control of them and they did the little things very well.

KB0938Who does everyone think the Cavs will draft now? Is it pretty much a consensus that theyll draft Wiggins and thats who everyone wants on here?
Does anyone actually want the no defense playing, less upside having Parker instead? -
robj55
Think it depends on what's going on with this whole Lebron and Melo situation. If you know that you are going to get one of them I think you take the big. If not you obviously take Parker or Wiggins. I like Wiggins upside but Parker has a more natural feel for the game, both should be very good.KB0938;1628518 wrote:Who does everyone think the Cavs will draft now? I think the whole Lebron/Melo thing is just rumors theyre tossin around honestly, but you never know. The NBA lately with big name free agents has been anything but predictable.robj55;1628521 wrote:Think it depends on what's going on with this whole Lebron and Melo situation. As far as Wiggins vs Parker. I just think that Wiggins will have way more of an immediate impact wherever he goes because of his defense and athleticism. Parker is a bit more polished on offense, but he plays next to no defense, and his upside isnt near as high. I just dont think itd be the correct pick @ #1 IMO. But im no scout, or Cavs fan so take it with a grain of salt
And with drating Embiid(sp), a big man with injury concerns who then gets a stress fracture in his foot is just screaming bad news. They cant afford to miss on 2 #1 pick big men in a row, thatd be such a mess lol. Im curious to see if hes able to stay healthy and where he ends up -
robj55
Yeah I don't really thin they can get it wrong either way. If they could add Lebron then I would say go ahead and take the gamble on Embiid despite the injury, that way you have your big, PG and do it all small forward. If not, then either Wiggins or Parker would be good, I like Wiggins defense and athleticism but don't love his offensive game or feel, Parker is a natural scorer but hasn't shown much defensively yet. Either one would be a tremendous boost to that team. Nothing shocks me anymore in the NBA so I could see Lebron and Melo going there, dunno about the financial part of it working but I'm sure they could swap the number one pick for Melo and I believe they have room to sign a Lebron.KB0938;1628527 wrote:I think the whole Lebron/Melo thing is just rumors theyre tossin around honestly, but you never know. KB0938Yeah, I just think with Blatt as a coach(assuming he really did agree to the deal) that Wiggins would improve leaps and bounds offensively, very quickly. If he is as good of an offensive coach as everyone has mentioned when talking about him in articles.
On the off chance they do end up somehow with Bron and Melo thatd be quite a formidable team. 1. Irving 2.Waiters(or they may bring em off the bench?)3.Melo 4. Bron. 5. Thompson(assuming theyd have to dump Andy, or resign him for a much lower salary). I think this has a snowballs chance in hell of happening though -

They would obviously be the instant favorites to win the East and go to the finals. Gonna be an interesting summer, possibly some big shake ups.KB0938;1628529 wrote:Yeah, I just think with Blatt as a coach(assuming he really did agree to the deal) that Wiggins would improve leaps and bounds offensively, very quickly. Commander of AwesomeI can add to a LBJ being douchey stories. My next door neighbor going up's kid owns a bar in Akron where LBJ held his 20th birthday party. Rented out the bar for the evening and didn't tip the staff. Owner ended up tipping them out of his own pocket because he felt bad. Hurt feelz all around.
