Thoughts on the Dungy comments? Personally, I don't give a shit and have zero issues with what he said.

Do you have the same opinion as this nerd?

I have no issue with what he said. It wasn't anti-gay, it was "anti-I don't want Tim Tebow like distractions in my training camp."

I think he's saying what everyone is thinking. Sam is not a good player; he only got drafted because he's gay.
  • BR1986FB
The Sam issue was being discussed on the radio yesterday and the hosts were saying that if Sam were released in the first round of cuts it would just be assumed that "he sucks and didn't make the squad" where if he made it to the final round of cuts and then got cut, there could be an "uprising" among various groups. I don't get their thinking but whatever.

I will say that if he makes a sack in his first preseason game, ESPN will be all over that like flies on crap.

He'll be cut. He is not very good.

    SF will pick him up

If you agree with Dungy and don't believe Sam is hero then you are a piece of shit. #libtardlogic

Dungy's comments are pretty much on par with the 31 other teams. No big deal at all.

About 15 minutes before he was drafted they "experts" on ESPN were talking about him and most pretty much said he just didnt have the talent to be drafted yet, or at all.
You should draft guys who may be able to help you and if they have a 'circus' following them you also have to gauge if it was worth it.

Dungy obviously believes it would not have been worth it and it seems like many teams agreed with him.

Even if he had a ton of talent he'd have a rough go of it trying to make that Rams squad. I think he's projected as a 4-3 DE and St Louis is stacked on their D-Line.

Same as everybody else here, I don't care at all about it and think the media members roasting him are just pissed off he called out the media. It's a joke that people are making what he said out to be a big deal and just proves his point IMO.

Even though he is with the hated Ravens, will be rooting for the local kid, Keith Wenning, to make the squad as a backup QB for the Ravens. He set a number of records at Ball State and a few may remember back to the state title game vs Youngstown Cardinal Mooney where he threw two trick play passes for over 100 yards and a TD in the upset win. He didnt play QB until his senior season at Coldwater and that hurt his looks at other places but man does he have an arm.

    and a good kid too.

    Per Schefter.....

Suspended Jaguars WR Justin Blackmon was arrested for possession of marijuana Wednesday night in Edmond, Oklahoma.

He'll be joining Josh Gordon, out of the league for good....soon.

That's fucking bullshit. I don't know how you could ever domestic abuse is far less of an offense than smoking weed. Great message the NFL is throwing out there to everyone.

    SAGE ALERT!!!!

And yeah, Goodell is an ass-clown. Exhibit #3493850353 in proving that.

Then again, you can see why he'd totally half-ass things like discipline, when he has to focus all his attention on getting players to buy into the concept that, while he wants fewer hard hits and stuff due to concussions and other injuries...the season should be made longer so players take more hits and suffer more wear and tear on their bodies.
  • Automatik
I also completely forgot Pryor was banned for his first 5 games. Not that it really mattered, he wasn't ready....but the principle behind it was fucking ridiculous.
