[h=1]Bengals Unlikely To Retain Michael Johnson[/h]
Feb 10, 2014 4:26 PM EST
Michael Johnson is unlikely to return to the Cincinnati Bengals in 2014.
Johnson played the 2013 season on the one-year franchise tender of $11.175 million.
The Bengals have given large contracts to Johnson's defensive line teammates, Geno Atkins and Carlos Dunlap.
Love it. I just hope we see them sign Dalton to a huge deal next. -
Commander of AwesomeThe New York Jets are interested in making a high profile free agent signing at wide receiver this offseason.
Jeremy Maclin and Emmanuel Sanders will receive interest from the Jets.
The Jets ranked 31st in passing offense last season.
Eric Decker, another free agent, isn't likely to draw serious interest from the Jets. The Jets' front office isn't convinced Decker has the ability to be a true No. 1 receiver.
[h=1]Chiefs Release Dunta Robinson[/h]
Feb 08, 2014 4:15 PM EST
The Kansas City Chiefs have released Dunta Robinson.
Robinson was just one season into a $13.75 million, three-year deal.
Robinson failed to live up to expectations and was touched by the Indianapolis Colts' receivers in the playoffs.
Robinson began the season as the Chiefs' third cornerback, but was replaced early in the season. -

Any leads on where he might go? Falcons? Buccaneers? -

I dont think Dalton would warrant a big deal at this point. Sure, 3 years and 3 playoffs and that is great, but without playoff wins he wont get a huge contract.Terry_Tate;1578822 wrote:If that happens I may punch somebody.
I imagine Mikey Boy will try to extend him this offseason for a mid level contract and Dalton will most likely turn it down and gamble next year like Flacco did. If I were Cincy I would try to get something done before he can possibly cash in. If he plays well next year, and I think he will, and they win a playoff game or more, and I think that is very possible, then his asking price went way up. -
Commander of AwesomeMartin is a complete mentally weak *****.

Agreed. Give me Incognito for cheap, thanks.Commander of Awesome;1580711 wrote:Martin is a complete mentally weak *****. -

Kind of a 12-point summary of things in the Wells Report. Just a very weird case. Especially when you get through the first 11 and then read 12 where it basically says that despite all the bullying, hazing and whatever, Incognito had to feel blindsided because not only was Martin taking part in the comments (due to possibly trying to fit in and get the bullying to stop that way, as hypothesized by Wells), but often being the guy texting Incognito to hang out. And you got the idea that Martin himself didn't know how he felt about things, as he referred to Incognito as basically being both a "good" and "bad" Richie. -
IggyPride00Roger Goodell made $44.2 million dollars last year.
He might have the best gig out there when you consider that most people would love to be commissioner of a professional sports league, and he gets to make $44+ million in a year to do it. -

Considering how much money the NFL and its owners make, he deserves it.IggyPride00;1580902 wrote:Roger Goodell made $44.2 million dollars last year.

Well no, he is a great #3 in the slot. And his wife is easy on the eyes.Commander of Awesome;1578813 wrote: Eric Decker, another free agent, isn't likely to draw serious interest from the Jets. The Jets' front office isn't convinced Decker has the ability to be a true No. 1 receiver. -
Laley23Decker hasn't played in the slot ever I don't think.
He would make this WR core top 3 in the nfl immediately. -
SonofanumpYeah, I don't know what i was thinking.

Commander of AwesomeEmmanuel Sanders is note expected to return to the Pittsburgh Steelers this offseason.
Sanders has begun preparations for the open market, parting ways with agent Jordan Woy.
Sanders is already on the radar of the New York Jets, while the New England Patriots could also be interested.
The Steelers have indicated that they plan on drafting a big wide receiver in May.

off season keeps getting better and better. -
Ironman92Sanders had some good games and IMO is a good #3 receiver. I wish him well but do want a big receiver.
-
thavoiceSanders is a serviceable NFL receiver, but one that should be able to replaced.

Lovejoy1984Steelers have been looking for a big WR since Burress left, right?

Ironman92Jimmy Graham likely to be franchised......if he 's franchised as a TE he will make $4.8 million less than if they franchise him as a WR.
I know he's a TE but he lined up as a receiver 67% of the time last year. -

He didn't QQ about going to the probowl as a TE.Ironman92;1581744 wrote:Jimmy Graham likely to be franchised......if he 's franchised as a TE he will make $4.8 million less than if they franchise him as a WR.
