Revis still plays at a high level. Haynesworth gave up after the money.

Good move on the pats to get him for a 1 yr deal, but if I'm the pats I'd rather have Talib for 4/5 yrs than 1 yr of Revis. Just my opinion.

Agreed. They will have to find a replacement at CB and it most likely won't be a pro bowl caliber guy. Plus talib isn't as injury prone.

Just saw a tweet that miles Austin tweeked his hamstring while cleaning out his locker room. God I hope that is fake, because that is brutal lol

Saw that Saffold failed his physical with the Raiders. Most seem to believe it was a case of buyers remorse by the Raiders.

    Decker to the Jets.

Go From Peyton Manning to, Geno Smith.

    Prayers from Muskingum County.

I was reading the patriots didn't go for the long term with Talib because he's injury prone.

Does anyone have a PFF account? I am wondering how talib and revis graded out last year.

This. $12M is way too much. I'll be surprised if he makes it through training camp.

i believe i heard that cap wise that is less than they were paying/would pay talib

    Uuuhhhh...

    Sproles to the Iggles. Wow.
  • sportchampps
Sprockets will fit well in the offense
  • gorocks99
Seriously, perfect fit for Sproles. That offense is going to be something else next year.

Sure will be. I mean, have you seen line up? WOW!

My gut tells me they'll regress in Chip's second year
  • wildcats20
Malcolm Jenkins also has signed with the Iggles.

Will be interesting to see how it shakes out.
No way Foles can have that sort of TD/INt ratio again so one has to expect him to turn the ball over more, but they also will have another year in the system with him taking most of the snaps from day one which should HELP.

NFL defenses are hamstrung by the rules in the passing game, but I expect defenses to catch on a bit. Adding Sproles is a good addition though.

Yes. Give me like an hour, I need to finish working on a memo and I'll do a screengrab

So the Eagles traded Sopagoa for Sproles. Sigh

Chip was never known for having a great defense. There was another team this past year who had an awesome offense and a mediocre defense.

They got smashed in the Super Bowl.

Not even close last year, but obviously it's a case of tape > numbers.

He wasn't even in the top 50 last year?

Nope. I'll do a screencap of his week-by-week rating

He had some really good weeks early on, banged up his hip, came back in week 11 and wasn't the same.
