  Manning will be unable to complete passes beyond 15 yds in the wind & cold. Seattles D-line is too fast for the weak Bronco O-line and will rush Manning into getting rid of his throws before receivers can get open because he will never take a sack. Personally I'd rather see the AFC win but this game unfortunately is a NFC lock. I'm giving you all this one for free...bet the house on the Seahawks.

  Maybe the Seattle D-line won't be able to get traction in all that snow.

  Not surprising, though. The NBA's change to a few cities having "super-teams" with guys like LeBron gaming the system ala his move to South Beach had to have turned off a lot of fans. I mean, this year, the entire East conference has a total of two good teams and a ton of mediocre-to-crappy ones. Kind of the same with baseball. They said that it's because the sport never recovered from the last strike, but when you also had the steroid boom and the vast disparity in payroll between the upper class and lower class, it gets harder to get invested enough in it.
  
  I was a bit surprised college basketball ranked below both the NBA and NHL, though. You have the 1-and-dones and the occasional scandal, but overall, it provides a ton of fun and the conference/NCAA tournaments is the only postseason I'd say is as good or better than the NHL's. But that might just be from my perspective, as college basketball probably would be where I'd go if asked what my favorite was.

  The 1 and dones have killed it IMO. I live in a region that shows a good deal of UK games. Even though I've never been a fan I could always name several players on their team....since the 1 and done stuff has taken over UK has pretty much fallen off the map....just one example.
  
  As a whole I simply know Waaay fewer players across the nation because the best players are there 1 year. Many of the players that stay long enough to know aren't very good players.
  
  I still love the tournament, the conference tournaments and huge matchups between the big shots .....but college basketball has fallen a ton with me.

  I think what hurts college athletics is the fact it's dominated by small markets. Bloomington, Lansing, Lexington and the Triangle aren't exactly major markets, same goes for Columbus, Tuscaloosa, Austin and Knoxville. Problem is the Northeast and West Coast could care less about college sports while baseball and football reign supreme in those regions inflating their numbers.
  
  I don't know why basketball and baseball do not honestly establish hard caps and floors. It's done wonders for the NFL and the NHL is now seeing nice growth with their system allowing the wealth to be spread around more

  They won the national championship 2 seasons ago.
  
  It will be interesting to see what the poll looks like in another 30 years. Who knows where football will be with the concussion fallout, and baseball will just keep on falling.

  I didn't mean their program was flying high and successful......I just used them as my personal example.

  with the NBA's new CBA, I think we see a hard cap equivalent with the repet tax fines. The amnesty of mike miller, trade of luol Deng(potential amnesty of boozer), are two examples of teams changing their strategies in the building of their teams.

  Nobody but other thuggers want to watch the NGBA thuggers dunk on each other and play nothing that resembles real basketball, that is why the NFL is more popular. As for baseball it's because most of America isn't Hispanic...at least not yet.

  He had a hell of a year as the top defensive player on one of the best defensive teams that won way more than expected.
