"Last night shows that racism is still alive and well...and that's so sad...At least some people respect MLK's dream"

    Sherman tweeted that.

    STFU, Sherman.

    No doubt.

In reality last night showed that no matter how educated a person is you can still sound like a punk.

Nothing he did was selfish. It's not like he did anything to hurt the team. A player like Suh is selfish with all his unsportsmanlike penalties
It's all selfish and hurts the team because he only talked about his actions and his opposing receiver, not about his teammates which is the whole point of team sports but maybe a simpleton like you doesn't understand that? To use a phrase from you, his play sent his team to a Super Bowl. He is more engrossed with his performance than the fact his team is moving on and that's gotta be concerning to his teammates and coaches.

It's obvious that I have played at a high level in sports because unlike you I get there is more to team sports than what happens between the lines, in fact the games are probably 15% of all the work and time you put in with your team, maybe less

LJ is wrong, and your comments are almost as dumb as his are.

Nothing he did or said has hurt the Seahawks as a team. Nothing he said or did will have an impact on the Super Bowl. IF anything, he will bring the media attention onto him and away from some of his teammates.

Come super bowl sunday his interview will be nothing but old news and will have nothing to do with what happens. He was in the heat of the moment and didnt have his head on straight. He is a smart enough guy that this wont fester and continue on.

No clue what you are talking about. I've seen athletes wear ridiculous hats......Sherman made Bart Scott look calm.

You have no problem with his interview and I think it was ridiculous in every manner.....mind if we move on?

It does hurt the team because it shows how this guy actually thinks and I'm sure it turns his teammates off a little bit that he acts and thinks like he's bigger than the team. I mean come on, your a CB in a sport where you have 10 other teammates on the field

wait what? You are the one that is bothered by his comments calling him a punk. Juat like you are bothered by Kaepernick's hat saying that he "looks like an idiot".

He wasn't selfish at all. I never played past High School but I did play in 5 playoff games over 2 years on high school.if you had played at that level you would know how high emotions are running literally seconds after the game ends, especially for someone who just made a play as big as he did.

Yeah, I said he sounded like a punk in that interview.
I also thing classy is wrong in thinking it will hurt his team.

It is what it is....a guy getting interviewed in the heat of the moment, sounding like a punk. He didnt say anything about his teammates that would cause any issues.

    Nothing more, and nothing less.

lol, as long as he produces on the field and isn't being a cancer towards coaches/teammates (ie: complaining about salary, teammates, coaching schemes), I really doubt anyone on the Seattle roster really cares that he gave a hilariously unhinged interview or that he loves self-promotion.

I doubt players are sitting around today thinking, "Man, it'd be great that we made the Super Bowl...but Sherman just ruined it for all of us...sigh...".

    Lol.

Ehh..there was enough time between the play and getting the interviewed.
I dont think it was selfish at all, just made himself sound like a punk.

Not to mention that a corner who is put on an island the whole game is playing by himself essentially. His one on one matchup 100% depends on his performance and nothing else. Even Urban Meyer says that each player has to win their individual matchups in order for the team to perform.

its not like it was a few minutes after made the play to seal a regular season win, but he made the play to go to the damn Super Bowl.

Just when I was starting to see his point of view, he goes and plays the race card...maybe my gut feelings weren't all wrong.

If that's indeed the case, then I can see why he tweeted it. There's no reason for that.

    You're welcome.

You mean if someone acts like an idiot I will call them out on it?

    He acted like a punk.

    Plain and simple.
