2014 NFL Playoff Thread

    Thank you.

Denver and Seattle both have cold climate and snow. They can handle it.

I hope Seattle wins, but wouldn't mind seeing Peyton go out like a boss.

Has he stated he would retire if he wins? I couldn't blame him but would be surprised.

Not that I know of, but if he wins, you can't go out in a better fashion.

A record setting regular season, SB win, possible SB and regular season MVP.

If its me, I'm dropping the mic and I'm out.

The report came out that they TRIED to make a big deal about it was he was going to get his neck evaluated and then go from there, but the story didnt blow up much mostly because they said it was the same thing they did last offseason.

Not many players of any sport get to go out on top. Not many players of any sport get to go out still being one of the best in the league. Not many players get to go out after a record breaking season.

How cool would it be if the Colts, I mean, Broncos win. Manning puts up monster numbers and wins the MVP and when they record the Disney commercial about what is next he says "I;m retiring and going to disneyworld!"

He wouldnt do that though as he probably believes that would bring all the attention on him.

If it's me, I'm banking another $40 mil for 2 more seasons.

Oh and both teams are playing in the exact conditions, so it doesn't benefit either team.

I'll answer your question with a rhetorical one of my own: Haha are YOU dumb bro?
So you don't think cold, windy, snowy conditions would favor a strong running team over a strong passing team? I know you're smarter than that.

    Oh, it does.

Yeah, both teams have to play in the same conditions but the conditions you state would favor the Seahawks.

    OMAHA.

    You are fucking stupid.

When the fuck was the last time a team ran the power I as their offense?

In the worst weather game I coached this year(pouring down rain with heavy winds), I passed 95% of the time with a 75% completion rating. Not because I'm a passing guy, but because the defense put 8 in the box against my spread each play.

Denver isn't going away from their offense regardless of weather. They may make adjustments, but they are still the same team.

Unless you believe every game of the entire season should be played in a dome with the EXACT same conditions(turf, controlled temp, amount of air circulation, can't have more cross air in one dome, etc) then shut the fuck up.

Should Seattle's 12th man be allowed to have an impact of the game? That's not an equal advantage. A better team might lose a close one due to problems communicating.

You are arguing with the same child who said Pete Carroll should suspend Richard Sherman for the SB.

You're placing the teams THAT far apart in running? That's where you're wrong.

    Check the numbers.

    Regular season rushing DVOA
    Broncos 10th
    Seahawks 7th

Broncos run game is predicated on the effectiveness of Peyton Manning throwing the ball. If that threat is greatly diminished, they're not a team that will line up and execute a power running game. Seahawks run to set up the occasional pass.

Suspend him for the Super Bowl. He's a detriment to his team.

How dare he say hell ... twice.

That's pretty much a good game where's the hate for Crabtree pushing him away.

People can't have it both ways. You can't hate Sherman and give Crabtree a pass but hate on Lebron when he walked off the court without shaking hands.

Ha ha Ol Tiernan is right again..."Thuggers" will now become an accepted part of the lexicon.

We all know you're racist, so you saying it really doesn't have much impact.
  • Tiernan
Am I now? Sooo Sherman is racist too?
  • WebFire
I never think of "thug" as black only. Many blacks are thugs. Many whites are thugs. Asians, Mexicans...they can be thugs too. But since everything has to be about race, let's redefine the word thug to fit the racist agenda.
  • thavoice
He mentioned the fights in hockeys...are they thugs?

No, they are called goons when they fight!!!
