Yeah, because Revis is a bum... LOL.

I am sure you jerked off to the Bentley signing years ago since you go 6 to midnight for all linemen. How did that work out?

You're right, I loved the LCB signing. Bit me in the ass. I've since learned my lesson on FA. I've been saying for the past few seasons, FA is fools gold. Revis a solid player? Yes. Do I think he's worth the trouble/money/Cap Hit? NOPE.

You want to pay a #2 CB $16 million dollars and then watch him QQ and want a bigger contract next season (3 teams in 3 yrs) then go ahead. I'll just say I'm glad you're not the GM.

I'd rather draft Manziel than deal with a dumbass like Revis. He's overrated.

I liked the Bentley deal too. Just sucks what happened.

I'm totally cool with Revis. He was one of the main reasons a team with Mark Sanchez made back to back AFC title games.

No, revis is only a "solid" player. LOL

How many super bowls has Revis won? Zero.

In 2009 his PFF coverage rating was 33.2 jesus christ. I know that doesn't mean anything now but that's stupidly impressive.

    For context, here are the NFL leaders from 2007 on: 11.8, 24.9, 33.2, 14, 18.8, 26.4, 14.3

How many Super Bowls has every draft prospect won? How about the majority of FAs this off season. If that's your only gauge of a FA, you just need to stop and stick to college FB.

10.8 (good for 5th), and that was while playing in a scheme not completely utilizing him.

What's more impressive? Despite being in that scheme, he still finished #1 among CB's by being good against the run and not committing penalties.

He's still got a lot of juice left.

Hmm, the teams with the highest paid players being QBs are perennial SB contenders. The ones with the highest paid players being WR/Def players aren't good. Interesting. Whats to learn from this? You pay WR/Def players $12million+ you're doing it wrong. $16 m for Revis is crazy.

Thanks for the info. Good player no doubt, I just dont want to deal with his baggage, nor pay him the insane amount he wants. Doesn't make sense, as Revis isn't the difference maker between playoffs or not IMO.

I'm trying to track down a tweet I saw yesterday...something about something being reduced to $1M in a trade (possibly cap hit?) but Twitter is being lame.

Neither is Mack, and he expects to be paid like a QB. Also he is far more of a diva crybaby bitch boy than revis. Boo hoo I am the highest paid center in the league, but I want to leave Cleveland boo hoo.

Stick to your all Boy Scout team though. Must be part of Erica womanginis family tree. Glad you're not the gm.

He's getting paid top center in the league for 1 season. He can get hurt and then his career is over. Wants a long term deal with more guaranteed money. I can see why he wants to be taken care of. Much better than Revis QQing about his contract, sits out work outs, gets a new deal, then does the exact same thing next season. He's legit done it 3 times now. Not sure why you're so willing to jump at the chance to land him at $16m a yr, but bitch about an all pro center for around $8-$9 m a yr.

It was a tweet from LaCanfora
If a team trades for Revis, can easily convert $13M base down to $1M, save an easy $9m-plus in '14 room - but future cap #s even higher now

How does that work? I'm not familiar with the cap rules of trading I suppose.

There is talk about restructuring his deal. Also Mack is not fighting over price. You're kidding yourself there if you actually think he would be ok with 8-9 mil a year. If he was, he would be more than happy to add more years to the 10 mil he is already getting. Thanks.

Interesting speculation. You haven't responded to Revis QQing like a bitch boy 3 yrs in a row about his contract. In his second yr with a new team (that gave up a 1st round pick to get him mind you), they're already wanting to move on, yet you're 6 to midnight about signing him. lolfail.

BSPN talks about him a lot though, so I guess he's the SB difference right?

It's not my only gauge but the guy is older than dirt and has never won anything. He constantly whines about how underpaid he is but no defense with him on the team has ever won anything. Time to move on.

He's the highest paid def player last season ($16 m cap hit) and he's still QQing about his contract. He can GFH

$16M is worth it if we can lose in the playoffs every year.
