2013/14 NBA season chatter - let the LBJ hating begin!

Hibbert has always been overrated imo, he feasts on smaller front lines but struggles big time when he is put in pick and roll and has to move his feet away from the basket. His footwork is very average as well, don't know what his contract is like but he is very overvalued.
They signed him to a massive deal in 2012. Not terrible, as only 2 years will remain after this season. But, it was 4 yrs and 58 million. If they cant resign Lance because of that and he continues to just suck, it immediately becomes one of the worst deals in the league.

You gotta make adjustments in the playoffs, and he doesnt, and it kills them year in year out. I think he is a bright young mind, but they might not be able to wait around for him to learn how to coach a team in the playoffs.

Also, I hate his slow down game. The Pacers are actually a better team when they get out and run a bit, but he has them slowing it down. Their offense is ok, but they take SO long to get into it, they fight the shot clock too much. Thats on Vogel.
I agree, I think he is a talented coach but he always rubbed me as arrogant. I think his stubbornness is a part of that. It's like man you haven't won anything yet, stop acting like you are above changes. He has been outcoached by Spo.

Also, this is PGs 2nd true playoff run (and last years was really, really good), I wouldnt count him out yet. I think it will come. This year seems to have a funny feel to it...you just know something will come out in the offseason and explain the 180 this team has done.
I agree, get him involved early, make sure he understands that he is the man and this is his team for the future. I think there is definitely something that happened behind closed doors that hasn't come out yet.

Man Indy is NOT a good passing team at all, if they were better in that area this might be a different series.

Hibbert two rebounds and a field goal (Mario Chalmers has two rebounds, too)

I have no idea what will happen when Miami plays San Antonio (arguably the first challenge they'll have faced all post-season) but I'm turning this game off. Good riddance, Indiana.
I never even turned it on. There was no way this game was going to be anything but a beatdown, which is pathetic for conference finals elimination game. It's sad what a forgone conclusion the NBA season is.

At least the finals should be worth watching, though.

    Fuck Miami.

That being said, hope SA or OKC dethrone Miami. Cant stand watching their bandwagon grow, and listen to the fans try to justify their bandwagoning lol

I was curious last night if the fans booing Stephenson even knew why they were booing him.

I was starting to think this myself. But his antics have been on the court and relatively harmless in comparison. Ya, he's out there but more like JR Smith's antics earlier this season.

I heard an interview with a reporter from that said Paul George was dealing a stripper pregnant, and Paul slept with Hibbert's wife.

    What?

But yes, the pregnant woman and Hibbert's fiance were two rumors this year. Although it's tough to say how valid they are.

IDK if you are being serious or not and the debate on here about certain players bores me to death.....but that's a pretty special accumulation of stats for one playoff game.

Just think he impacts the game in more ways than Durant, makes more plays n other areas other than scoring, makes that team go. Both top 5 players.

I don't know where he appropriately ranks as an all-around player....but he is athletically awesome to watch.

Not that you care what I think but you just lost all credibility with me regarding the NBA and I can no longer take what you write seriously.
