Week 6 Lions @ Browns: At least we're not Detroit....we're not Detroit

Let's keep the winning ways going. GO BROWNS

I'm just wondering if Reggie Bush gets 200 or 300 yds. Could also see Matthew Stafford looking like a HoFer.

If the browns keep up the run def I could see us making stafford beating us and I'm not sure he's capable. One of the few QBs that I'd rather have weeden over.

Lol you're kidding me right? Stafford is 1000000000x better than weeden.

Weeden's going to have to make much quicker decisions or he's going to get eaten alive by Detroit's front 4.

Also hate to pick on you S&L, but thanks for jinxing it. Everyone tell S&L to GFH.

I'm not sure about Hoyer, but he's certainly impressing right now.

I still lol @ BR hating on Lombardi for bringing Hoyer in, and Chud starting him lol

    Hey S&L, GFY.

Also GFY for starting the browns in 1st place jinx thread. You're the worst.

No shit. So much for "under the radar." Now everybody knows. ;)

    Oh give me a break.

If anything it was BRs daily "please bring back weeden" prayers that he said to himself every night before bedtime.

Barking up the wrong tree on that one. Once I saw better than average QB play from Hoyer, I'd turned the page on Weeden. Frankly, I don't really want to see him out there now because I feel they will be pissing away a potential playoff season but I sure as Hell don't want to see that scrub Josh Freeman out there either.

Im only messing around. I'll stop giving you shit about weeden.
  • SportsAndLady
But I would take freeman over weeden any day of the week.
  • BR1986FB
I want neither, at this point.
  • Commander of Awesome
Read this analysis on Weeden and I completely agree.

"Weeden has to learn to react, trust his stuff and just play. He, much like Brady Quinn here has to see the play develop, rather than anticipate and trust."

Browns win 44-4. Haden houses 3 tds.

Anyone that would take Weeden over Stafford is smoking the good stuff.

Someone post the face palm photo to this post.
  • Dan Gilbert
Weeden is going to have to make his decisions much sooner.

Haden and Skrine will have to have solid games, pressure Stafford into mistakes.

    Should be a good game.
  • Ironman92
This should be a very good game. A last second FG may very well decide this one. Cleveland needs to keep winning but losing this wouldn't be as bad as losing in the AFC.

If Weeden can get an accepting comment or two from S&L during the game....the Browns can win yet again.

Hopefully having the extra days worth of rest will help as well.

Good point. I wonder if there is an above average winning % for teams with the extended rest?

Detroit 31, Cleveland 10. Weeden sucks.
