Week 6 Lions @ Browns: At least we're not Detroit....we're not Detroit
-
like_that" The Cleveland Browns have not allowed a running back to gain 100 yards on them in eight games, half a season going back to 2012. The last to do so was Jamaal Charles of the Chiefs in a 30-7 Cleveland win. Since, the Browns have held Washington (and Alfred Morris), Denver, Pittsburgh, Miami, Baltimore (and Ray Rice), Minnesota (and Adrian Peterson), Cincinnati and Buffalo without a 100-yard back.
" Since being traded to Indianapolis, Trent Richardson has 51 carries and 151 yards, an average of 2.96 yards per carry. He was averaging 3.5 per carry in Cleveland. (Note: This does NOT mean Richardson is a bad player. It just means those are the numbers.)
" Joe Thomas is the epitome of durability and dependability. He has not missed a game since being Phil Savage's first draft choice in 2007, and has played 6,190 consecutive snaps. Thomas has started 101 games in a row and has not missed a play in his tenure in Cleveland. Not to mention this little fact about him being a pro's pro. -
Dr. KnOiTaLLAnother interesting fact:
Through 5 games, the Browns have scored more points than the Patriots (WHAT?!) -
like_thatWhat is the status on Sheard? We need all the pressure on Stafford we can get, plus he is a lot better at stoppping the run than Mingo.

thavoiceIf Bush and Megatron play then this game is a toss up, but if Megatron is out then the browns win.

If Hoyer was playing QB id agree with the toss up part. If they both play I just don't see Weeden being able to put up enough points.thavoice;1514287 wrote:If Bush and Megatron play then this game is a toss up, but if Megatron is out then the browns win. -

Been trying to reverse curse the browns for a fwe weeks now and all it has gotten me is Browns wins and 140k v dollars.Rotinaj;1514330 wrote:If Hoyer was playing QB id agree with the toss up part. If they both play I just don't see Weeden being able to put up enough points.
Weeden did look better when he came in after Hoyer was hurt so who knows... -
iclfan2
Not really. He looked terrible the first couple drives, then he started slinging it, and it worked for a few catches. He didn't make mistakes, which I guess is an improvement in itself, but not great.thavoice;1514332 wrote:Weeden did look better when he came in after Hoyer was hurt so who knows... -

Norv Turner can be credited for that. They had a game plan in place for Hoyer and had to scrap it and go to a different one for Weeden.iclfan2;1514393 wrote:Not really. I think he's a little better than Weeden but that's not saying much. He holds the ball and is indecisive just like him lol. Way more accurate though imoBR1986FB;1514468 wrote:No....god no. -

He flat out sucks and him being better than Weeden is debateable. Flynn won't get you to playoffs. At this point, I wouldn't look at another QB unless they had the skillset to potentially get you to the playoffs. Ride it out with Weeden and see where the draft pick falls, at this point.robj55;1514471 wrote:I think he's a little better than Weeden but that's not saying much. The Raiders took Matt McGloin over Flynn....that should tell you all you need to know.SportsAndLady;1514503 wrote:I hate weeden so bad. But even I would take him over Flynn. Lol -

I saw him play in some preseason action as well as the game against the Redskins last week. He throws an accurate ball but he is slow on his reads and progressions just like Weeden and as a result gets sacked or checks it down a ton to the back. Weeden is wildly inaccurate.Commander of Awesome;1514480 wrote:Based on what? That ONE game against Det? lolfail -
