    Agreed.

Fuck you Chris Perez, I hope you drive into the Cuyahoga river and drown.

If they bounce back tomorrow and beat Verlander, I will have a new found hope.

If they lose, particularly if Masterson gets knocked around, I will be devestated and hoping we sneak into the 2nd WC (which I think they are playing for anyway...but, yeah)

I have had some time to digest this. An awful loss. Just awful. Win tonight...and we are looking at a shot at taking 3 of 4. Now we are playing for a split.

If we get the split...we will survive to fight another day (for the division). If we lose 3 of 4 or get swept...forget about it.

Tomorrow is huge. Masty needs something similar to Kluber tonight.

Especially since Stubbs was rightfully playing it like a double. If he comes up with the barehand, he has a shot at 2nd (in his mind, Cabby is running like normal).
Stubbs is a crappy outfielder...speed or no speed. Whenever they replace Raburn with Stubbs..it brings out the lulz. Raburn is a MUCH better outfielder...period. Stubbs is out and out clumsy, with a poor throwing arm as far as accuracy goes. tonight's error on Cabrera's ball was one of loafing more than anything. He literally walked after the ball after it skipped by him.

But even worse, in the 8th inning he backed away from Hunter's line drive...any decent outfielder reads it and runs in catching the ball waist high. Lucky for him, Jackson overran second base and helped the tribe escape that inning.

And why wasn't Raburn playing in the biggest game of the season? When will Tito figure it out that Raburn is a much better ballplayer than Stubbs?

And I agree with Royal K. You should play this game as if it were game 7 of the WS. That means CP is gone after serving up a 0-2 meatball to Victor. It's too bad we dont have a lefty to punch out the likes of Avilla. But we don't.

I have been at the 2 most horrible home losses this season including tonight. The guy behind me screamed ?meet me in the parking lot after the gamr Chris" and stormed out. LOL.

They have had some truly terrible losses this year...the Boston games and then last night, but they have always rebounded. I am so curious to see what they do tonight. I do like that Perez disappeared last night before the media was allowed around. He would have been an interesting soundbite...lol

He seriously drove me nuts refusing to dive for a ball. Nearly 500 games in cf and not once did he dive for a ball and only a few times did he try the sliding catch (woefully).....4 out 5 kindergarten boys can slide across my gym floor without hesitation but one of the fastest guys in baseball that plays OF cant???
Then Reds announcers spew how great he is in CF.

Now if we can somehow get you to take Dusty Baker.

Won't need one...no way they pull Masterson in the 9th when he has a perfect game going.

I really hope he gets jumped in the dawg pound. There I said it.
  • TBone14
As stated above...we will see what these guys are made of now. If they are feeling sorry for themselves they could get dominated by Verlander. This is why you pay a manager big bucks. He has to find away to pick these guys up and get them focused to put together good at bats vs Verlander and get enough runs for Masty.

Not surprised you wouldn't go to the browns/lions game after acting like an Internet hardass and claiming you would beat the dawg pounds ass. Lol fail.

I don't know. Perhaps. I can think of none bigger in a Tribe uniform. He needs to be an ace tonight. After a loss like last night...he needs to put the team on his back go throw a gem.
  • Classyposter58
I'm wondering if perhaps the people of the Greater Cleveland area forgot where the stadium is? Looks like another 50% crowd on hand here tonight
