It's Masters Week!

I take back what I said earlier. I will also follow if Angel Cabrera is in the mix. He brought the lulz for me when he won the US Open and was smoking a cigg down the 18th fairway, because he was so nervous. Been a fan since.

I was there. It was great. He was fucking bombing the ball all weekend.

Aaron Baddeley was leading and paired w/ Tiger on Sunday. Everyone was hyped for him, yelling...BADS!!! BADS!! Thinking he had a shot. Not sure exactly, but he folded immediately. Like +5 on the first 3 holes. Cabarera eventually took over and held on.

I saw Johnson fucked up at the end of his round and the 14 year old freak might make the cut now.

Tiger just got fucked. Holy shit.
  • gorocks99
    Tall about bad luck, wow
  • Terry_Tate
    Wow Tiger got fucked.
  • wildcats20
That might have been within a foot. Literally no reaction from Tiger though.
  • Terry_Tate
Damn what a response. Tiger is on his game so far.
  • Laley23
    Then sticks it.

Will be an awesome bogey if he makes the putt. Great composure.
  • wildcats20
    Shorty for bogey, must make.
  • ironman02
Tiger should be at -6 and in the lead by himself right now. ROBBED!!!
  • Terry_Tate
Boom, drains it. Can't imagine how pissed he is though.

No clue how he kept his composure there. He was probably enraged.

But now he might be in trouble on 16. Can't let a great round get away from him here.

That bunker shot, unless burried, shouldnt be an issue. He has the green as a backstop.

It's Tiger at 16. He'll get it close lol.
  • Laley23
Man, couldnt get enough spin. A little more and thats a tap-in or in altogether.
  • wildcats20
Tiger with a "you gotta be fucking kidding me" after his approach on 18 goes long.
  • wildcats20
3 putt bogey on 18 drops Tiger to 3 back.

Tiger played really well today, but doesn't have much to show for it. He's obviously right there in contention, but he really should be at least -5. I hope the ridiculously bad luck that cost him 2 shots on 15 doesn't end up costing him a chance at major #15. Three shots might be pretty tough to make up if Jason Day keeps playing the way he did on the back nine today.

Just to put into perspective what Guan achieved, excluding that bogus 1 stroke penalty he needed only 147 actual strokes to get through his 2 rounds.

Phil Mickelson, 3 time Masters Champion (and owner of 14 tops 10's at Augusta), needed 147 strokes to get through his 2 rounds.

Defending champ Bubba Watson, who hits it probably a legit 80-100 yards further took 148.

When you think about it in that perspective that he essentially managed to get around in the same amount of strokes as guys like Bubba/Phil it only magnifies what he accomplished at such a ridiculously young age.

Anyone who plays golf knows how much harder it is to hit long irons and woods into greens than 7 or 8 irons. With Augusta specifically many of those greens were not designed to be accepting long irons/woods, which is why historically bombers have owned the place.

That Guan is able to post the scores he has hitting it as short as he does needing utility woods and long irons into most greens blows my mind.

Yeah, I don't know the last time I saw a 4 hour or less round. I don't watch an exorbitant amount of golf but they always seem around 5 hours. Me and a buddy walking a regular course shooting 80-90 can make it in under 4 hours but we also spend 1/10 the time these guys do looking at putts and judging distances.

I honestly dont know if I have seen a round under 4 hours. Its 15 min a hole as a rule of thumb. That alone takes it to 4.5....
  • Laley23
Just read that Tee Times have been released. Didnt look at them all, but saw that Bubba is playing alone. Has the former champion (or any champion) ever had to play alone??

    He should use his hovercraft.

    I was thinking that.

Leaders usually go off at 1 or 1:30. Coverage always "ends" at 6. That alone is over 4.
