Tom Brady tries to make it to the end zone on that play....guarantee it. As a fan.....Peyton Manning is the only QB in the league I would've wanted him to slide at the 4 yard line and giving himself up.

Again.....I simply do not see the risk at all. He had plenty of space to see and then get down if he needed to. As for the franchise part, what's it matter? They were 2-7, playing at home and on prime time. God forbid he ATTEMPT to make a big play for his team. Has Mr. Franchise ever won them anything? Far more likely to get hurt on the sack.
Tom Brady has been in a playoff race at worst every season of his career. Just stop.

The playoff race has zero count to my thoughts. Too many GM wannabes on here.

Wow, Scott Tolzien looking like Braxton Miller on that TD run. Ridiculous.

LOL, yeah because fans not wanting their franchise QB to tear his ACL in a washed season makes them wannabe GMs. That's quite a reach, but not really surprising coming from you.

Rams just had a player run onto the field from the sideline during a play and nothing was called.

How there were no ejections during that, I have no idea lol

Stafford looks like shit today. Threw a terrible pick 6 and the Lions trail at the half 17-14. Gotta pick it up here as these two games are huuuuuge. To get to 8-4 with wins the next two weeks is vital

Tremedously good throw by Rivers and a clutch catch in the EZ to put KC in deep jeopardy of losing their 2nd game.

We might just have a tie today

Wouldn't this be 2 seasons in a row with a tie?

I think it would be didn't sf tie last year
  • sportchampps
BTW Matt Flynn has looked pretty good

They tied the Rams, I think. Almost tied them twice (the second game went deep into OT)

Would have been nice to watch this game, but god forbid the nation miss 2 seconds of a Cowboys game

(I know it was an NFL rule that made them switch over, but whatever the rule is I'm sure is stupid)

They didn't switch for me. The studio said they had to after the Carolina/Miami game finished, but they went to Packers/Vikes.

The Columbus station showed the full overtime just now switched to the Cowboys

They didn't switch the vikes/pack game for me either (in DC).

    Same here in Toledo area.
  • ts1227
They cut it in early OT here (Cleveland), Curt Menefee came on and stated they were obligated to switch.

Must be some dumbass obscure primary market rule having to do with the Browns having a home game.

I saw it and the Carolina game to the ends here in Marietta. When it takes 11:11 for the tying FG to come in OT, it leaves less than 4 minutes for a sudden death score to occur!

And that play holds up for the win, putting the Chargers in the thick of the race for the 2nd wild card along with six other teams with six losses.

    Romo to Witten. Basically automatic.

All this is based on my thoughts that he had several yards to decide if it was going to be a dangerous run for him....he went down way early instead of seeing what was going to defiantly transpire.

I never said anything about wanting anyone to get hurt or doing anything risky. I showed the pic...I think he had room you others are sticking with the likelihood that he wasn't going anywhere....that's fine. We both have legitimate opinions....I'll move on if you will. You keep inferring my carelessness to sports situations and I'll keep this going.
