2013 MLB Random Chatter

Texas has gone 31 days without gaining ANYTHING on Oakland.

Over the last 31 days the teams have either:

    1. Both had off days
    2. Texas lost and Oakland won
    3. Texas lost and Oakland lost
    4. Texas won and Oakland won
    5. Texas lost and Oakland was off
    6. Texas was off and Oakland won

That is fucking insane. Just mindboggling to me lol.

Last time the Pirates and Cardinals lost on the same day prior to Friday...April 4th. It happened twice in the last 3 days...

I think the best part was how his comment came AFTER you posted the link to where it came out the pitcher was lying about how/why he got punched.

Nobody ever accused the little guy of being smart.

Apparently MLB has offered A-Rod a deal and is awaiting a response.

I am interested in seeing the entire list of players connected to biogenesis.

Uh-oh, Jerry Meals just blew another (potentially) game changing call at home plate.

On the bright side, he fucked over Boston.

The angle they are supposed to get in (and he did) for that play is profoundly retarded....it completely keeps them from seeing the play. Completely idiotic. Why don't they stand on the right hand side of the batter's box to call balls and strikes on RH hitters?

Yeah. He did it the way they're taught, but as soon as the catcher swung his knee out to block, Meals couldn't see shit.

Even without any angle it still looked safe.....you never call out unless you see out...and he didn't see out

    Fucking Molina brothers.

Giambi became the oldest player to hit a walk-off HR when he did it tonight vs the White Sox

Forgive me for not paying attention to the A's, like everyone else normally does when they are quietly one of the best teams in baseball, but how the fuck is Bartolo Colon 14-3 with a 2.54 ERA?

He's one of the main biogenesis players.

The Detroit Tigers after Sunday have had officially 900,000 more fans attend their games than Cleveland.

Tonights attendance for the Tigers vs Nats was 42000, the Indians had 34000 the last two days combined lmao. GTFO Cleveland

Both cities are neck and neck for the best in the country!

The Indians sold out every game from 94 to 2001 or so. What was the kitties attendance those years?

Ha when y'all fielded a team worth a damn.

But come on the Indians are 58-48 and 2.5 back, yet are a million people behind in attendance?

Expectations have a lot to do with Attendance. The Tigers are expected to be in contention for the WS. The Indians just hoped to be in contention for a playoff spot, but most of them probably weren't really expecting playoffs. Makes a big difference.

We're a day away from August. It's pretty clear the Indians are in contention.

You just quoted his damn post. Expectations are what you have at the beginning of the season. We all understand your point, but it has nothing to do with what Midstate01 said. So GTFO, thanks.

I'd imagine a good amount of those fans too were to see Stephen Strasburg in his first, and probably only trip to Detroit in a long time.
And he did pitch well overall, just one bad pitch....

I don't care how many people attend Detroit games. Your town in bankrupt and you can buy a whole city block with a $20 bill and get change back.

    GFY Detroooooit
