I wouldn't get to carried away. The Indians and Tigers have played well so far but none of the other teams will finish .500.

The one where he throws out a very fast Harold Reynolds.....from the LF warning track....mind boggling.

I'm glad I got to see the unearthly stuff he did in baseball and football. One of the strongest/most powerful athletes ever and btw ran a 4.25 40.

    Legit question.

Why are some of these natural rivalries what they are?

    Braves/Blue Jays?
    Red Sox/Phillies?

Why not switch these two? A lot more history.

Twins/Brewers? I guess you have former AL Central rivals there.

    Rangers/Diamondbacks?
    Padres/Mariners?
    Astros/Rockies?

Nothing you can do with those crappy teams.

Braves/Blue Jays....the Bobby Cox series! Early 90's great teams?

Red Sox and Phillies....Curt Schilling bowl and WS matchup?

    Twins/Brewers is regional....other 3 are stupider

Braves, formerly in Boston, have lots of history against the Sox.

Yes, they have had a legendary WS, but it's not the best rivalry.

Twins and Brewers, yeah I guess you can call it regional. Same as you call Reds/White Sox regional. Or Reds/Tigers.

MLB stretching.....if you've always pretty much sucked, there is no rival for you.

Whoever does the games on WGN freaking sucks. They are barely talking, and literally just went 29 seconds during the game without saying a word. 29 freaking seconds. If you ever want to fall asleep during a game just turn to WGN.

They are playing each other, lol. Guessing White Sox since they're the home team.

Hawk Harrellson is the worst. I was at the Detroit/Pittsburgh game today, I liked the matchup. Tigers don't really have any out of league rivals, I guess the Cubs, Reds and Pirates is about as close as it gets. I like when we play Cincy though

Just found this: http://www.heavethehawk.com/. Apparently he is really hated, lol. What tipped me off to how bad they are was the first at bat I saw Julio Borbon hit a home run and as soon as it left the bat the only thing said was "Oh no". Haha

Hawk is the fucking worst. Even worse than underwood.

I like when Dunn kills one that is clearly way over the fence and he begs for it to "STRETCH"

    Hawk is terrible.
  • Ironman92
Hawk led the AL in RBI and finished 3rd in the MVP race in 1968.

Padres/Mariners share Peoria for spring training. That's all I got.

@SportsCenter: Mariano Rivera BLOWS 1st save of season, as David Wright scores the game-winning run in bottom of the 9th. Mets beat Yanks, 2-1.
